The rooms and objectives offer little variety. The boss fights are not very creative, the dialogue between the characters is repetitive and uninspired, and I encountered consistent shader stutter throughout.
Used to be fun - but yeah - my fault for buying the game in the EA. Well, another lesson learned.
Come back and try it again! Seriously! Update 1.2 skill trees *completely* made the game a lot more fun and I'm loving it. Originally, the game seemed repetitive and overwhelmingly difficult. Now, its far easier, you can customize your character to fit your play style, and the characters move faster making for a far better game play. Great job dev team!
Overall, it was enjoyable, but it feels somewhat unfinished. I want to give it a positive rating because they nailed the visuals, soundtrack, and gameplay. But the perks and progression are absolutely missing something. Because of that, I would say it feels a little unsatisfying towards the end of the game because it gets pretty predictable. Very fun game either by yourself or with friends. Always better with friends. This game store art if Nostalgic. Takes me back to being a kid watching Saturday morning cartoons. Love it.
