About This Game

Game Background

The inspiration for this game comes from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It adopts the classic Three Kingdoms setting but charts a different path from its predecessors: instead of being a strategy game focused on conquering territories or a hack-and-slash "Musou" style game, it presents the Three Kingdoms as an open-world adventure. The core gameplay resembles Breath of the Wild, placing players in the role of a "stranger in the Three Kingdoms." Players can recruit companions and famous generals, conquer cities, freely explore cities, the overworld, and the underworld, engage in battles with renowned historical generals, and even pursue romance with legendary beauties of the era.

The game features real-time combat, playable with either a keyboard or controller. The combat system leans towards a fighting game style, requiring precise timing for attacks, dodges, and blocks. Seven distinct troop types are designed, each with unique attack styles. Unlike Breath of the Wild's emphasis on solo combat, players can recruit companions and soldiers to engage in large-scale army battles. A "Military Formation Mode" is implemented, allowing players to deploy their recruited companions and soldiers into battle formations, significantly diversifying combat strategies.

In this war-torn land, you are not a legendary general from the history books, but an "Outsider" who descends from the unknown. With no predetermined destiny or allegiance, you step into the chaos wielding a rusted blade. Will you become a hero to the refugees, a warlord under a feudal lord, or a king carving your own path? This Three Kingdoms era is reshaped by your choices.

Reimagined in intricate pixel art, the world recreates the landscapes and cities of the late Eastern Han Dynasty: the imperial grandeur of Luoyang, the bustling streets of Jingzhou, the vast frontiers beyond the Great Wall... Every city is freely explorable, hiding side quests and serendipitous encounters.

  • Rewrite History: Assassinate Liu Bei before the Oath of the Peach Garden? Help Lü Bu defy his fate at the White Gate Tower? Your actions trigger chain events, spawning Alternate History Paths unseen in historical records.

  • Diverse Roles: Master martial arts as a lone warrior or command armies as a brilliant strategist. With a rich combat system and a sprawling open world, boredom is impossible.
