didn't know the IP prior (which means i also don't know the prequel, although i'm certainly old enough) it is basicaly a hybrid between a text-based-adventure game and a strategy simulation (kinda) you are "captain" of your ship and command several crew stations (engineering, science, crew, etc.) and their "staff" (trying to avoid spoilers) which in essence means you get a hughe sector map, having star-systems (and more), with each star system having (atleast) multiple planets, etc. to venture to your job is basicaly to command probes, command your crew to science stuff, craft and disassemble while you mange their health (each crew-member got characteristics like physique, emotional stability, mental health) via all sorts of durgs (each stat can go from low to very high and you want to balance em out which in turn averts em breaking and makes em more viable for tasks/faster). crew levels up and you get the option to encode (store) or restore (load) em anytime you want. meanwhile y...
