Really fun 1-4 players (online and offline) brawler, the controls are simple and the game is really easy to get into. but still requires skill and fast reflexes to be really good at this game. the game has many characters with different attacks and special attacks so each one plays different than the other, the movement is fluid and the controls are tight and responsive. you can test your skills with bots too in case you have no one to play against. highly recommended especially with this cheap price.

Phenomenal game. Think super smash bros but much faster paced. A simple must buy with a great price. Hopefully this game will blow up. Pros: Very unique characters. Developer active and helpful in discussion board. Unique and balanced maps. Map creator. Arcade mode with challenging bosses. Survival mode. Skins for characters that can be bought with ingame currency. (no p2w) No pay to win. Player base big enough that playing online is easy. ------------------------------------ Cons: No dedicated servers. (Meaning, the games you are in are hosted by other players, so sometimes it is laggy. System for unlocking new characters is kinda silly. You can spend thousands of ingame money and not get any characters or get lucky and spend 25 and get new characters. But luckily a lot of the best characters are the ones you start with.
this game could be good but as it is it has very bad balancing problems, and a nauseateing effect on the background, and a humoungos difficulty spike. I give it 2/5 stars
A neat fast-paced indie action game. Not to many players right now in online, only because it's the first day of the release. Loving the gameplay, graphics and the unique abilities of each character. For only 5 bucks, this games quite the gem. It's hard to learn and extremely- or even impossible to master. (The bosses are quite rage-inducing.) I can tell this game will have tons of more content. You can buy costumes, items, party and slaughter your friends and foes,
Die to the boss 60 times
Hope to see you in-game!
Fighties appears to be the first game developed by PillowPigGames. What a solid first development. Let me start by saying the screenshots dont do it justice. The graphics, once in a game, are surprisingly smooth and polished. Character design is excellent. Each character has wholly unique abilities and play style, which is an achievement rarely reached with such a large cast of characters. This is the major selling point for me. Each character you unlock will have genuinely unique skillsets/stats that will require a completely different strategy in game. Many recent 2-D platform based competitive arena games dont add many new concepts, this is not the case with fighties. Combat is original and thoughtful, and they have not fallen into the trap of lazilly knocking off the abilities of other characters to complete their lineup. The price, when compared to similar games, is very modest considering the content. Subscribe to my curator page for more local multiplayer recommendations: ...
Fast paced smash-like game, filled with adorable characters who aim to turn each other into skeletons. Battles often don't last over 3 minutes, as the arenas are pretty small and there's nowhere to hide While most have been recently nerfed, I still feel like some are more powerful than others... *cough*Claws*cough* Don't be fooled by the cutsie-ness! But 10/10 would take a shotgun blast to the face again.
This game is crazy fun, and I've really enjoyed it. However, after one day of playing, I have not been able to open the game up again. The screen is always frozen, but the audio and controls seem to work fine. I have since switched to another computer, and it has the same issues. I've looked for help on the discussion boards to no avail. I'm not sure if this is a personal issue, but I just wanted to say this just in case it potentially occurs to someone else.
Love the art style and the concept. Don't like the one hit kill and think the speed is a little to fast. It's more button mash less strategy.
I highly recommend this great game, it's a lot of fun. A brawler + castle crasher themed design game. Majorly better with friends and online. All of the characters have their own little broken ways of being played which is great fun to determine and have to deal with. The bosses in arcade mode however can be quite a pain, they can be beaten, either with the moose dude or through immense dodge and dash capabilities, regardless, goodluck and enjoy this nice little find. I also loved the way that characters are unlocked, digging the retro style games guys, keep 'em coming!!! By yourself: 7/10 (rage inducing for some...) With friends 9/10 (had some issues with online for a mac user)
The reviews said that it was a very good game, and that the 'screenshots and video did not do it justice' but after buying it, I realized it was quite a shallow fighting game where button mashing and spamming was the way to win, along with one over-powered character. Fights are boring and frustrating and over extremely quickly. The tutorial in the game is quite dreadful, with no practice or training, and some of the text is extremely difficult to read, like the controls. As many people have said, the character balance is all over the place. And while some other people enjoyed the art style, I did not, not nearly as much. The bosses were quite annoying to fight too, as they played like the regular characters, but with far more health, and some sort of gimmick to the fight that you had to figure out. Though most of the fights end up being "Button mash" or "Run away until special attack recovers" and as it seemed that every character moved at the same speed, it was annoying on both acco...
