Game just sort of feels like a demo. Played for an hour, got to Oaks... and that's all there is to the game? Literally just chopping wood? Some stuff to explore, but nothing compels you to do so. Just boxes full of money that make buying stuff a smidge faster. Shame because Prodigal is an absolutely FANTASTIC game, and Curse Crackers was tremendously fun. But this game is just... I mean, it's not really even a game. I'd love to see more content later, or some sort of update to flesh stuff out. With that said, the game is literally $3. Perfectly fine if you enjoy the grind, but it sort of feels like you get what you pay for.

The game loop is straightforward in that you have to chop wood and do a few quests here and there. I loved the color choices for the characters. Very relaxing!
Cute relaxing little game. It’s perfect when you just want to drift off and have something to do. Pixel art is perfect and sound track is so pretty and have such a relaxing / enchanting vibe. This is sort of like early harvest moon but a lite version where you only chop word and it progresses into more advanced trees as you meet new characters and unlock parts of the world. For its price definitely worth it if you like cozy games just don’t expect a full fledged game that’s not what this is. 9/10 game for me
A bit mixed on this one. I don't mind games like this about grinding to get better stuff to grind better, I don't think this is the games issue. I think there just isn't a ton that's interesting outside of doing the grind. The characters are a bit fun, though I feel like I got most of what there was with them in the first hour or so. Gameplay never really evolves, other than sometimes you can use an item that reduces the randomness to chopping wood. I think the fact that everything constantly gets more expensive makes it feel like you never truly make progress. The main thing is that it also is 3 dollars, and I do think the game is worth that 3 dollars. You have to be really into the idea of doing meaningless tasks for hours and make little/no progress. I am one of the people willing to do that though. I probably seem a bit negative for a positive review, but I think it can be a neat little time waster if you want one that requires little attention. May or may not update this review af...
I completed this game for the most part. if you go in like i did assuming from the art style you will get an oracle of ages/season inspired game, you will be disappointed. it shares much more in common with old school runescape. I thought the content was worth price of admission and enjoyed my time with it as a game i played in the background. if my description sounds enjoyable or a fit for you I'd absolutely pick it up.
Game gud, will make review more robust later.
