About This Game

'AI-deal-Rays' is a high-speed 3D stage-clear action game where you control the full-intelligence android "AI-deal" in battle. Engage in combat against enemy androids and large-scale weapons while unfolding a story set in the year 2200.

Simple Controls

We've eliminated the complex operations typical of 3D action games, optimizing for smooth playability for everyone. At the same time, you can enjoy a variety of combat actions:

  • Mirage Line: A special evasive maneuver that allows instantaneous movement behind enemies.

  • Cluster Drain: An offensive and defensive technique that absorbs HP from enemies.

  • Stray Dash: A high-speed attack that charges at enemies from mid-range.

  • Sonic Burst: A powerful special move.

Playable with keyboard/mouse or gamepad.

Anime-Style Presentation and Camera Work

Unlike fixed TPS perspectives, the camera dynamically moves like in anime, featuring numerous action-packed scenes. Special actions include cut-ins that highlight character expressions and mech details.

Event Scenes

Between action sequences, event scenes are inserted to lead into the action. Enjoy a boy-meets-girl story set in the year 2200, featuring various sub-characters.

Story

The year is 2200. Full-intelligence androids known as the "Re;ON Series" quietly begin their battles after finding their respective owners. During this time, the protagonist encounters TYPE-X2 "AI-deal."

How should we confront AIs that have reached a level capable of guiding humanity? We still don't know the answer...

Sub-Characters

The androids that appear in battles and events each have unique visuals and personalities, standing in the player's way.

  • Secret Re;ON Type-X1 "Ray-Ared"

  • Secret Re;ON Type-R5 "Accurate"

  • Secret Re;ON Type-R6 "Vita"

  • Other boss-class androids are also planned to appear.

Additionally, various sub-characters and enemy androids will appear to enhance the story.

Game Volume

  • Total of 10 chapters.

  • Each chapter includes: 2 action stages + 4 event scenes.

  • Estimated playtime: 5–6 hours (standard playthrough).

I hate to give this a negative review but there is a H version of this game that you can buy on DLsite. This is a dumbed down buggy version with no H Content. There is no offsite patch and the Dev has said he will not be making one. Just go buy it on DLsite instead. 26/08/2025: The Dev has announced he will be adding a DLC to Steam in a month or 2 that adds the H Content back to the game. It will cost enough to make the total price match the DLsite price.

Review: AI-deal-Rays (Steam All Ages) ※This version has been restructured for all ages. Just seeing this sentence is enough — it’s over, everyone go their separate ways. Gameplay is playable, but not as smooth or fun as Nanoha: Gears of Destiny or Magical Battle Arena Next. The game focuses mostly on VN-style story and characters. Attacks and skills exist, but it’s not a full-fledged fighting experience. Even though you might see “R18” in the game → this All Ages version has NO ero / 18+ content at all. If you’re an R18 / ero fan → there is no adult content in this version. Price is about $3 USD → okay to buy for fun or to casually try the gameplay. Summary: Suitable for those who want a light gameplay + story experience. If you expect full gameplay action or R18 content → Not Recommended. Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) – Not Recommended You really should state it clearly in the title, such as AI-deal-Rays (Steam ver.), to let people know this is not the ...

Basically, this isn’t the Original version people were expecting. If you like it, fine, but if you came for something else, you’re not going to find it. The best thing would be to just make a patch for those who want to play the Original version. Don’t be lazy—you already have the game, just give players what they want.

The developer removed the H-scenes to make this game "all ages". But it has some suggestive content, that isn't really meant for all ages, It even hints at H-material that isn't even in the game.

I really wanted to give this game a chance. I really tried. I got to chapter 5 and that's when the obtuse combat got me. Getting stun-locked over and over is not fun. The combat is both too simple but also feels completely out of your hands. Even if you prefer the game to not have any hentai content, there's still lots of sounds and animations that make it clear what this game was supposed to be. It's not something lighthearted and comedic like the Senran Kagura series. If this game looks appealing to you, and you want the hentai content to go with it, you'll do better to find the original version instead off the Japanese site. EDIT: A new difficult option was added in an update since this review so my initial road block regarding the janky combat may be a non-issue now.

Each game has something it focuses on, the meat of it so to speak, this is a hentai game without hentai in it, which is like a burger with no meat, only the burger buns and since it's one of those hentai games with terrible gameplay and bad technical state, those burger buns are actually made out of cardboard. I know dev is thinking about making a patch on his ci-en, but at this point, it's too late and it's not gonna fix anything for few reasons and since he cant think of them because AI does thinking for him and deciding anything for the game, i'll list out those reasons. 1. It's gonna be sold on dlsite for like 5x price of the game on steam, which is absurd, because the game even with the scenes isnt worth that price, even the full one on dlsite considering the game has the worst censorship i've ever seen in a 3d game, there's no textures on the genitals, it's just divine light in the shape of them, it makes you go to dlsite to get it with the hentai scenes and at that point you mig...

I discovered this game a day before its release, I was very interested in the gameplay and so far it hasn't disappointed me. I'm having fun but sometimes it feels too easy? I'm aware that another version of this game exist with difficulty settings so its unfortunate that this version didnt get that but its no big deal. Music is amazing and reminds of Punishing Gray Raven. I'm not sure if the nsfw content influenced the story in some way but so far the story is engaging thanks to the VA's. If you like Armored Core I think youll have fun playing!
