About the Game

I woke up confused.
Why did they bring me here?
Why did they put a crystal necklace on me?

As she wakes up, Luna has no idea where she is. She is alone... or is she? Help her discover this strange world, survive the many challenges that await her, work out the secret of the Crystalline Expanse and ultimately escape.

Luna Sky delivers a story you will never forget and a game you won’t be able to put down.

Features:
  • 5 unique worlds. 4 of these levels are dedicated to a special skill you pick up along the way
  • Full controller support
  • Fully voiced cut-scenes
  • Super tight physics-based platform game with much room to improve your skill
  • Multiple upgrades
  • Fantastic soundtrack with 5 different composers, giving each level a special feeling
  • Loads of fun extras to enjoy

Please Note
This is a game of exploration. There are no tutorials.

How the game progresses
The game starts with Luna being rather weak.

As the game progresses, she gets upgrades to her existing abilities - for instance - running and jumping powers on the first level. On the second level, she gains a double jump ability which can be used to gain speed, halting mid-air or overcoming obstacles.

Each skill you unlock can also be used to play previous levels and maybe access new areas within levels!

Don't forget
It is helpful to read the Hints on each level. They are accessed through the pause menu - press ESC on keyboard or the start button on your gamepad.

The new update has really turned this game around and made it a joy to play. The sound and music scapes really are exceptional, and immerse you into the expansive landscapes. The visual effects are rewarding. Each level seems to test a different aspect of the 2.5D gameplay.

Once upon a time my biggest issue with Luna Sky was that it would crash on launch. This was due to a Mesa issue and the developer didn’t have an AMD GPU to test with. Luckily the Mesa team was able to fix this and now the game runs. Sadly after all that I can’t say i enjoyed what I played of it. The voice acting was pretty good. The story seemed too vague and I didn’t have much of an idea what was going on. The platforming was a mixed bag with my main issue being that I didn’t like how you rolled into a ball when jumping as well I didn’t like the skating feature. Early on I was going to complain that there was no map but then I was randomly hitting buttons and found the one that opens a map. The issue was then that I found the map to be be near useless as it had no legend forcing me to figure out what the symbols meant on my own. This was a common theme of Luna Sky where very little was explained very well. Also I was randomly hitting buttons because when you’re in game yo...

It's like pinball with a super-girl instead of balls! Awesome!

I have played this game a little and I must say I enjoy it. It has a nice feeling and I like the camera transitions. I think it would be more fun with a controller (yes, it does offer gamepad support) but unfortunatelly I don't own one. I'm not sure if it's just on my PC but I don't like the fact that the console is always running in the background and if you try to close it the game crashes. Overall an enjoyable game for the price paid (got it at a discount).

The game is super nice that is why i gave it a positive , but it does not work on my 720P laptop , i had to link it with my TV for it to work. I give it a positive rating per total , but i'm very disapointed that it's not working on 720p , i was hoping to play this at the office.

Game keeps crashing on start up and after looking around in the discussions tab, it seems that this is almost an early access product that the developer wants the consumer to instead, refund this game and buy Luna Sky RDX.

Graphics look weird, settings don't seem to take (resolution won't change no matter what I do) and the game crashed 5 minutes into story mode. When it's cleaned up I'm sure it will be fun but I can't recommend it right now.

Really slow gameplay and ridiculously long loading times. I'd only recommend this rubbish to the sloth from Zootopia. Thankfully I got this for £0.99 in the sale. Wouldn't even recommend it at that price though, yey alone the 9.99 they apparently expect normally.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this game. I bought it at discount, I was not disappointed. It's worth a shot.
