About This Game

Hypermarket Simulator is a cozy and immersive retail simulation game where you build, manage, and grow a massive shopping paradise that goes way beyond groceries.

Build the Ultimate One-Stop Shop

From electronics to sportswear, frozen food to home décor—design your dream hypermarket filled with everything under one roof. Customize the layout, choose your departments, and create a shopping experience your customers will love.

Master Inventory and Realism

Stock thousands of different products—but be smart! Frozen goods need to be stored properly or they'll go rancid and become unsellable. Organize your backroom storage, build custom stock areas, and manage your supply like a pro.

Embrace Automation

As your hypermarket expands, so does the chaos. To keep things running smoothly, you can streamline operations by installing self-checkout kiosks and hiring staff to assist customers and restock shelves. Invest wisely to strike the perfect balance between speed, efficiency, and service quality.

Stock, Sell, and Strategize

Hand-pick what you sell, set prices, and track what’s flying off the shelves. Will you specialize in high-end electronics or become the go-to spot for home essentials? Your pricing strategy, shelf organization, and restocking speed will make or break your business.

Expand and Evolve

Start small, dream big. Use your profits to expand your floor space and unlock new product categories to keep your operation running smoothly. Turn your hypermarket into a retail empire with smart upgrades and customer-focused planning.

This particular review hurts, because the gameplay is fun, up until a certain point. The point im talking about is where your days selling are 7-8 minutes long, you have fun, youre stocking, serving customers and spending and growing your market. However, the day ends. Your 5 stockers take literally over an hour, even with your help, to restock your market. Their pathing is atrocious, and their speed is just too low. It makes the game a drag. I afk the nights and let them restock the 200 or so boxes, but then I just decided, why should i afk a game that isnt an idle one. Until they fix this restocking speed i wont be returning.

Update: To those who think my review is unfair because this game is in early access: just because a game is in EA doesn't mean I cannot leave a negative review. This game is in ROUGH shape. I am not the only one who agrees. This game is beyond buggy. pressing tab takes you to the pause page. Press tab again while in pause game causes your mouse to disappear forcing a hard close of the game. Save functionality doesn't work. This game needs months if not years of further cook time. Will be refunding, but will watch the progress from a distance. Also why no cashiers???

CAVEAT EMPTOR!! I bought this game because I had faith that there would have been some developmental improvements from the demo for all the time that passed between the demo release and the early access release. But the only thing done in all that time was a few products were shifted around the licenses. That is all! This game is not ready for early access and it certainly is NOT worth the price. You cannot even hire a cashier! It's cash only and the customers hold the money way up in the air so I get motion sickness from having to move from scanning to taking the money all for every customer. This makes the game completely unplayable and thus a complete waste of money. Every other market simulator allows for some card payments and suffering in the cashier role is just temporary until a cashier is hired. Not this one though. After a 1/2 hour of playing I get a headache and feel like puking from motion sickness. What a terrible design! I can not recommend this game in its current...

Why did you change it so you're now forced to switch over to the next day? I used that time to stock the shelves. Additionally, the fact that the time continues to tick even when you're not open is also a flaw. Why are there still no cashiers, and why can you only hire stockers for one day? It's stupid. Currently, I do not recommend it.

it is a great game so far, I would love to see more better scanning that is more seamless as yesterday a item was behind a customer on the floor metres away and could not scan so had no choice but to save the game and exit and go in again and restart the day, other then that which is only happened once are enjoying the game.

I LOVE this game!!! Supermarket Sim but with a fresh twist. So much to unlock from even early levels, and fast progression. Very well done by creators. This game is early access, so don't really understand all the negative reviews. I do however have some pointers that could be added/fixed (but this is not me complaining). I would love to see a sell button added for furniture that is no longer needed. For example, I can afford multiple self checkouts now and have kept the manual till closed and it works well. But it takes up a lot of room as you can't sell or even get rid. I also have some old clothes racks that i've left out in the delivery area for now. Everyone is complaining about the speed of restockers, but i think it's not too bad and the higher level you get you can have multiple. I think rather than making them faster, just add a time lapse button to speed up the day, especially the end of the day when you do most restock. Would also love to be able to paint and decorate shop a...

Take other simulator games like SuperMarket Simulator, Grocery Store Simulator etc and magnify the speed of upgrading and expanding both your inventory and store size by about 3. Now magnify the number of customers exponentially as well and you have yourself "HyperMarket Simulator" right here. This game does speed up the process and the grind feels a lot faster and more efficient in this game, but don't let that fool you... You'll still have many, many hours of content to play through because in this game, your store isn't just a little market. Oh no, in this game, you're goal is to be like twice as big as the biggest Walmart you've ever seen and literally have HUNDREDS of customers in your store consecutively all throwing money at you! ..Let the good times roll baby!! This is a very well made game for just launching in early access and it almost seems as if this dev or these devs were actually watching and playing other similar games and learning from them! I firmly believe tha...

Unfortunately, the amount of bugs, usability issues, and design choices made in regards store staff and the like, make the playing experience substandard, as well as exaggerations in the game description which imply the range of items is larger than it is, leave the whole thing a little disappointing. I do like the idea of the scale of the simulator, there is something satisfying about building such a large store, so I am hoping that in the future the game will be worth revisting, but for now I can't recommend it.
