I don't get it. Why is VR so punishing for developers? This game hooked me so much that I've spent 1 hour playing it thinking it was just 20 minutes. It's incredibly addictive, has smooth gameplay, has great mechanics, has integrated gameplay where you decide on each mission if you want to do it solo or multiplayer. It could EASILY be one of these indie games that get millions of people and lots of awards. But it's in VR, it has no publicity, even the VR youtubers haven't mentioned it. Steamdb says it has a peak of 20 players. This is incredibly unfair. This game is a well-rounded mix of Deep Rock Galactic and Subnautica with a drop of No Man's Sky. Yes, I've played a bit more than one hour but I've watched hours of gameplay, I've seen how deep the mechanics and levels and enemies go. And I wasn't even expecting it to be so fun, so immersive, so engaging. The sense of scale in boss battles is great. The odds on each mission are stressful but fair, there's a great sense of satisfacti...

Upon launch this has to be one of the best optimized vr games I’ve played. I game on a laptop and usuallly expect the vr performance to struggle and I always have to then settings down, but immediately upon launch this game played buttery smooth with defaults and I could probably even turn the graphics up if I wanted. The gameplay seems more than just a no man’s sky mining vibe but that seems to be a huge element. The resource gathering , crafting and survival has hints of nms but also subnautica and deep rock. Really cool game so far , not sure how long the game is but I really appreciate the work put into this. Awesome game upon launch. Rare to see these days
Smooth, immersive gameplay with significantly improved visuals over Quest 3, strong optimization, and a slick, intuitive in-game interface. Lost track of 3 hours instantly.
This is a fun game! Haven't gotten very far, but the gameplay loop is fun, the mechanics are fun, the UI is not overly complicated, the dialouge is engaging and entertaining (and not annoying at all), and I like the graphical style. My only real complaint is that the menus/tutorial popups are too far away for me to read, but everyone should take this with a grain of salt since I am VERY nearsighted, like more so than most people who are also considered nearsighted. So, while I do wish there was a way to move popups/the start menu closer (or make the text bigger), I don't think this will inhibit anyone else (and honestly I just screenshot the menus and read the options from the photo so there's a workaround). Haven't tried multiplayer yet, but want to. Based on the single player experience, I think this would be a fantastic multiplayer experience. Worthwhile purchase for sure!
Do you like rocks and stones? Do you like survival shooter games? Do you like VR? if yes, then this game is a clear recommend so far. It is well optimised, runs stable with few bugs and is a lot of fun. The movement is very free, which makes jumping around the various caves a blast. The tool equipping is done via a radial menu per hand with no tools that need to be held in both hands. and lastly the environments look nice, if maybe a bit simple. but with the game originally releasing for the quest, that is understandable.
Fun game! The story so far seems quite nice, and it’s lots of fun to play with friends. The gameplay aspects, such as combat and mining, work perfectly together. The crafting system adds good replayability by encouraging players to gain all the upgrades.
Off the radar gem that was great on Quest and even better here on PCVR. The metallic reflections look good, Butler-bot looks good, shadows look good. Same wonderful gameplay.
pretty good game, can use some small upgrades here and there but nothing major
Found randomly this morning, keep coming back to do another mission. Fun game.
The game is simply broken. I can launch the game and see the picture in the headset when I remove the battery from my controllers, but the moment I put the battery back in and the controllers connect, the game crashes instantly. What an embarrassment.
