Lost Luminosity is a horror walking simulator that takes place primarily inside a creepy apartment. The game takes around approximately 1.5 hours to complete. There are 2 endings. + The atmosphere and graphics are spot on, almost photorealistic at times. + Loved the level design of the apartment. Many crawlspaces and secrets within. + Genuinely scary. There are 2-3 jumpscares that will make you jump out of your skin. + Sound design is minimalist, but very eerie. Had goosebumps. + The story is simple, but original and interesting. + The game is polished and runs well. + Puzzles are balanced, no guide needed. +/- The game is somewhat short but priced accordingly. I wish it was longer. Above average for the genre. Play at night in the dark with headphones. Looking forward to what the developer does next. Overall: 8/10

In my opinion this game isn't the best since it throws what I call "unreal engine jumpscares" at you over and over again that it's just cheap and if you've ever played games like that you'll know what I'm talking about. In some cases it just comes out of nowhere with no build up which is fine every now and then but I feel like the game would of benefited from lets say more screen time from the paranormal entity since for almost all of the game you really can't tell what this thing looks like since its coming at you so fast and there's no tension beyond noises or jumpscares. The game also uses AI voice acting which isn't the best but it works I suppose so long as it isn't horrible but for some reason the phone call part doesn't have a voice actor for martha. The game also has this WW1 trench as part of the attic which I felt was out of place and then at the final part of the game if you go off path you get attacked by a bear? which I think is goofy as hell when that entity lets us str...
This game really is an indie horror gem! The atmosphere is amazing as well as the sound design. Character design was also really good, mom gave me the chills. Jumpscares were well placed and not too overused, overall a very fun and scary experience. Had an amazing time streaming this and I can't wait to see more games from Ember Wing Games in the future :]
GREAT atmosphere, sets up very well for creepy bits (trying not to spoil too much). Story was pretty dark, personally hard to follow a bit but was interested and invested during the beginning portions of it. Voice acting was pretty good although some parts of it had the volume very low. Puzzles were really paced well and exploring felt rewarding (i wont say how though) Solid Horror game, definitely low key a gem.
noooooooo trash gameeeeee tak takutttt takk serammmm
Good for its asking price. Effective jumpscares, decent plot. One issue: Buggy graphics settings - "apply" doesn't seem to work. Tried setting the graphics to the max but they just kept on resetting and not applying. Not game-breaking, but still an issue.
If you like jumpscares and rich story that unravels at a very reasonable pace, then this game is for you! Through the roughly 3 hour session that it took me to beat it, I was immersed, terrified and intrigued every step of the way!! For the price there is no beating it… Great job Ember Wing Games!
Couldn't find the phone... those rings will haunt me to the end of time.
One of the scariest games to come out this year yet! 😱.. Atmosphere was intense, the Jumpscares well placed, and the puzzles are great but you definitely need to pay attention or you might get lost, Recommend! Check out my full gameplay below. https://youtu.be/C08qMVYPIxk
the game itself is very scary in my opinion however for the first 20 minutes or so fuck all happens the game aswell lags a lot but other than that good game
