Vega Chronicle

After discovering Vega relics, the people of your planet have united to take to the stars. But alien rivals seek to dominate the galaxy. Will you meet them with diplomacy and trade, or with conquest? Choose your path to victory in this turn-based 4X game with semi-autonomous real-time combat.

Space 4X gameplay

1) Explore the galaxy to find planets to colonize, discover new phenomena, and meet alien civilizations.

2) Expand your civilization to new worlds, establishing colonies on the most valuable planets before your opponents can claim them.

3) Exploit the resources of the galaxy to build up your colonies, construct fleets of spaceships, and research new technologies.

4) Exterminate your rivals, or choose a more peaceful victory path to dominate the galaxy.

Combat

Real-time combat uses semi-auto-battler mechanics. Command your fleets to dodge incoming fire, focus weapons on a dangerous enemy, or retreat to safety. You make the big decisions that shape the course of battle.

Meta-progression

Complete achievements to unlock Vega Stones: permanent bonuses that are used to gain Ancestral Virtues in future play-throughs. Ancestral Virtues combine and interact to add replay value by enhancing your civilization with powerful equipment and abilities.

 Victory

There's more than one way to dominate a galaxy. Will you build an economy that dwarfs all others? Discover technology to manipulate the fabric of reality? Or simply crush your opponents with military might? Be wary: other civilizations are striving for the same goals.

Diplomacy

Do your people grow weary of war? Sue for peace with an adversary. Running low on resources? Offer to sell some scientific knowledge. Once you discover alien civilizations and learn how to communicate with them, trade and negotiation create new opportunities for growth.

Research

You decide what technology to research to fit your play-style. Will you focus on diplomatic tools like Xenolinguistics and Empathic resonance? Research tech for building your economy, like Colony domes and Socio-techanization? Or develop weapons of war, like Battlecruisers and Heavy blasters?
