this game is really fun althogh. it is pretty hard if you are playing it traditionally. and the blue flag is awfully overpowered. combined with either jimmy or the bomb guy its really easy. haven't tried the other stuff yet.
I had a couple issues with the game and the developer responded and added options and changed the issues I had. Awesome response, that alone deserves props! The following was my original review: I enjoy the idea and the presentation but there are some major flaws I can't accept at the moment. -The game doesn't have the "your opened cell will have no bombs around it" rule from Minesweeper making the start of almost everyone run a 1/8 chance you just die. Will give it another try if they change this. Also the menus shaking up and down makes me rather motion sick and there is no option to reduce or remove the shaking.
's alright. It's really hard to say more about it. Mild risk-reward system added to the game to challenge the scoring, but game is kinda sauceless. Scaling is an issue with the resolution at times unless you're a) full screen and b) zooming in. Definitely satisfied with what I got though.
If you like rogue likes and Minesweeper, buy it it's good.
Even with some issues at first, I kept relaunching the game. As the developer is very responsive, we immediately got updates upon our feedback. The game is quite nice. You have 6 faces to play with, each having their own skill. You combine these with a flag of which you have 6 to choose from. Every flag has a feature, for example consuming a special tile for a points multiplier. You can play on 4 board sizes. At the end of a successful board, you can buy perks like shields, point boosters, glass tiles and so on to make next runs a bit more comfortable. There's also a nice in-game overview for the achievements. I played without music as I found the loop a bit too short and so repetitive but it is quite nice just playing with the sound effects. Sounds can be modified in steps of 25%. Minesweeper with benefits. Who can resist that?
