About This Game

Welcome to LumberJacked, a 3D incremental clicker game that takes place deep in a mysterious forest.

Chop trees, collect the logs, and toss them into the chipper to earn cash. Use your earnings to upgrade your strength and efficiency, or sharpen your axe allowing you to cut down increasingly tougher and more valuable trees.

Tunnel through trees to uncover the story, discover loot, and work with a friendly gnome who’ll trade tools for a price.

Destiny calls, do you embrace it, or defy it?

Features:

  • Be the Lumberjack: Chop down trees, and harvest them in the chipper to earn money.

  • Pump Some Iron: Upgrade your core stats to increase your efficiency

  • Hit the Grindstone: Sharpen your axe to improve its effectiveness against harder and more valuable trees

  • Treasures - Find various treasures and other discoverables to earn extra loot and tools.

  • Gnome Guide - Deal with a seemingly friendly gnome who is ready to help you, for a fee.

  • Uncover the Mystery: Seek out the scattered story of the forest to discover your purpose in it.

This game would be getting a thumbs up if it had a map. But the only map is inside of a building you can't enter, that you can only see from a distance...and there's no zoom button. Surely it wouldn't have been too hard to have that same texture pop up in front of my character when I press M? It's a short game, but I must have spent nearly an hour of my playtime just wandering around looking for patches of trees. Just give me a map. If I was doing this IRL, i'd just draw it on a napkin. Not having a map is never realistic or fun. Also, the stamina meter is pointless and needlessly frustrating. It isn't tied onto swinging your axe or anything, it only effects walking. It's NEVER fun to be forced to run for 10 seconds, then walk for 10 seconds, literally the entire gameplay. Why do developers do this? Please stop. The stamina/running feature combined with no map truly makes for some painful moments when you're trying to navigate the world. Another complaint is there isn't enough up...

A simple game with an addictive feel that makes you want to keep going! I finished it in one day and enjoyed it to the end.

I bought this game after seeing it in a video, suffice it to say I 100%'d it the same day. This is a fantastic time waster that is very easy to min-max, it ran flawlessly, no crashes, the only music is a singular song loop so put on your own tunes. Very laid back. Well worth the price as listed and if its on sale then its an even better steal. an easy 6-10 hour one and done time killer that wont waste your time

The overall game is really fun. I like the smashing of trees and upgrading the axe and character. I put in over six hours on the first day of play. I have both a PC and a Steam Deck, and the one thing I don't like is that the game does not offer Steam Cloud Saves. So I put in six hours on the PC and then opened my Steam Deck, and no saved game there. I also wish there was more direction from the Gnome on what is going on as I progress. I have just been upgrading my character and axe. Otherwise, it is a fun game.

Im going to reccommend the game despite my gripes with it, because its good to pass the time, however... theres bugged saves. lost an entire day of playing for no reason after saving and exiting because the boilers were bugged and not breaking. theres also no cloud save so if you beat the game twice for the achieve on two different computers it doesnt count not having a map to pull out and look at in game makes play time 2x longer than it needs to be its just not quite there yet, needs some more cooking

"Fun for a quick break after work, but it gets repetitive fast — especially the 'subordinate' ending."

Kind of stupid how you need to use mushrooms to buy and upgrade your drone, but solid non the less

Do you like to shut off your brain and cut down trees? THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU!!!!! All jokes aside I am a big fan of this style of game, go out do some things get money, upgrade get better. This is one of the more enjoyable loops I have played. If that sounds like a good time to you this game is 10 out of 10. Thanks to the devs for giving me something to sync some time into!
