i have a few problems with this game: mainly is that its boring. the gameplay revolves around moving your mouse so the main "draw" of the game is how you put the components on your ship but the problem is: the components are mostly the same. most weapons are just different stat changes be it adding multishot or more fire rate or more dmg or more range so theres little variety in the projectiles themselves. other components are mostly just stat buffs too but there are a few interesting ones. another problem: the upgrading mechanics. after act 1 you can put 2 of the same weapon together to get a better weapon which is always just a stat buff which isnt very interesting. dont get me wrong the games not bad just i wouldnt call it my ideal rougelike at all. also the demo wouldnt launch for me which is why i bought it from the get go so uhhh devs fix that

Core gameplay is boring slog, undermined by high difficulty and bad balance. Would not recommend. You control the ship by moving it left or right. That's it. There is nothing manual beside that, no way to control speed, aiming or shooting. It's very basic for most ships, trying to use your fire arks getting boring pretty fast. Inventory managment is nice. but there is only so much slots and modules on ship. Difficulty comes mainly from high randomness of the gear. You get choice of 3 pieces of gear for your ship. They are totaly random and there is no rerols. If you lucky, it can be actualy viable stuff like decent guns, reloaders, movement speed, and so on. Then you can beat the game. If you unlucky, you get irrelevant stuff which dosen't improve direct power and die on first boss. Main mechanic annoyance is missiles and spawners. Missiles are imbalanced for both sides, because they can easely guide on anyone from long range. After reaching critical mas they just overwhelm any def...

This game is great, even in its current state. The developer has released updates that include new ships and QOL improvements. There's skill and luck involved in the game and you definitely need to make a few runs with a ship to figure out the best weapon/passive load. Once you figure it out, you have to get lucky to get the pick of the selection you want. I'm looking forward to the updates, This game is well worth the $5. Plays great on the Deck too.

A lot of cheap deaths that you don't see coming. Especially when the enemy have spawners that keep spawn till it lags out your game. There's no skill involved in this game. You get the right items you win, if not you lose. Learn to make a better game.

Great game for you to relax and have fun. Most bullet heaven in this genre need you to pay attention to enjoy the game, since there are many gameplay elements. If you don't pay attention in this game, you may still suddenly die in the later levels. Also, initial ramp up is a bit slow.
