About This Game

Haley, an eccentric 13 year old girl, has a complicated relationship with her old friend Quintin. He's a ghost now, and he's puppeting her body with the intent of finding a satisfactory way of killing her. This dubious quest has led them to a mysterious abandoned island, where several people were recently murdered. And where, among the rotting cabins and dense trees, a strange new building hides a bizarre secret...

"He met a man an eyeless man a toothless man and he looked at the man and the man looked at him and he saw that the man was beloved and dearest of friends and the man spoke to him 'how long since you've tasted bone marrow' and he told him he told him truthfully and the man said 'come' and he came with the man and they vomited pure cold clean water into the endless eternal infinite sea and then, the end."

The two main characters in the story have a interesting and fun dynamic that got me both really invested and left me wanting to see more of them both, along side the unique (mostly) monochromatic art style and the eery but also intriguing story directly related to The Moon Sliver. Probably my favorite out of all of David Szymanski's story focused games.

7/10 A memorable experience. A very refreshing, and truly unique game. Its style is unlike David's other works, and that makes it all the better. It is a sequel to 'The Moon Sliver' though you would be forgiven to not have realized that at first. You are similarly trapped, but this time the atmosphere is a lot less oppressive. And yet, the game itself is much more unsettling I find. There are moments in the game that made my blood crawl, and no I do not mean skin. This game contains violations of humanity and God, in the worst and best possible way. There is a particular… 'Musical instrument' that has stuck in my mind since I saw it.. Since I learned of what it was…. An unsettling originality, no doubt about it. My rating is semi-critical, but do not let that fool you. This is definitely a game worth picking up.

Intriguing and unsettling experience. Good atmosphere, not exceptional storytelling but interesting enough to keep going. Surely worth a couple of hour on the right evening. Maybe is important to note that sometimes is really hard to see
