Russia, May 1918. In the midst of a civil war, the Bolsheviks have recently seized power. Tsar Nicholas II has abdicated the throne, and has been placed under house arrest in Alexander Palace. You're a diplomat sent to negotiate with the new regime, but instead are suspected of being a spy. Thrown into prison, you face a grim fate. But one night, you have a nightmare. A gruesome scene - a dark, dingy basement, covered in blood, with walls covered in bullet holes. Seeing dead bodies of young women and men, you realise it's the Tsar's family. Waking up in a cold sweat, you make a decision. When the morning guard comes in to check on you, you'll kill him, take his gun and make your escape. The Tsar needs you.

[h1]Boomer Shooter Of The Year[/h1] Absolute gob smacked at how pinnacle this game is. I am not even a fan of boomer shooters, seen "The Joel and Blair Show" shout out this based game, so I tried it. Glade I did. The lore, the humor, the almost Duke Nukum wolfenspineless feeling, but actually cool, it is very good. As a fellow developer, I can not wait to see the open world RPG version of this from what I am sure is about to become a notorious production team. [b]RAW MILK RAGE[/b] 🤣
I really, really missed the simplicity of the original Wolfenstein 3D and Doom games and this game is the perfect antidote. Absolutely brilliant gameplay with retro graphics. Good boss baddies and great plot too. I hope there's more where this came from, at the price it is an absolute no brainer!
Enjoyable as a Zoomer with no experience with this kind of retro style FPS. Very smooth gameplay. Works flawlessly with a PS5 controller.
