There is absolutely zero reason to ever play this game, unless you just have $5 to piss away with nothing better to spend it on. Seriously though, you would be better off getting a cheap salad. It's just so old now, and it was never really anything special to begin with. P.S. Nobody plays it.

been playing this since I was 8 years old and it's still possibly my favorite fighting game ever, it's just too bad the online scene is dead because I bought this game on steam hoping to face anyone that isn't a CPU who punishes me over literally any move I make

There's no other game like Marvel 3 and you know it. The day this games receives rollback will be the day the world will heal and all wars will stop. This game deserved and still deserves better. If we end up getting rollback, and I still have a heart beat, I'll comeback to this review and update it. This game constantly goes for sale, and I'd recommend snatching it whenever you can. No other game makes combos feel as satisfying as UMVC3's engine. This is just eighting's magnum opus. I've played this game for well over a decade, and trust me when I say this, you'll never play any other marvel game as deep and "balanced" as this one. You can play the shittiest team known to man kind and if you slap doom to it, you got something nice. This is, surprisingly, a pretty good thing. Training mode is pretty horrible. Super outdated, and very bare bones, but this game will have you on a choke hold once you try it for the first time, so you won't notice that right away. The online is ...

Successor to the legendary Marvel Vs Capcom 2 This game is one of the absolute best team based Fighting games ever made. Yes it's hard, yes it's unfair at times, and yes, when you first pick it up you are going to be destroyed. But the systems are deep, the skill ceiling is high, and the characters are beyond compare. Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is one of the very best games in the entire Genre of Fighting games, and not one anyone willing to rise to a challenge should miss.
