Good Survivors game for the price asked. Dev is pushing updates and already offered free dlc.
Pretty good gameplay. There are some minor things I am not 100% happy with (like no arrows pointing to chests that are offscreen), but the epic music is so good it makes me want to come back to this game. Just check out the video trailers, do you like that music? Because it's not only in the trailers, it's also in the game. The music in stage 7 is especially good. Also the game is pretty cheap.
TLDR: Avoid it. While the RPG class system has potential, the current build of the game is only making use of it to unlock more classes as containers for grinding. There is no synergy and the meta unlock to add more skill slots are meaningless given how short each regular stage is. The dev's message that his design focus to add more melee, range skills and classes seems misguided, as all it does would be making the game even more grindy. I think the game would be more interesting if we can have an actual "story mode" where progress carries between each stage, and the class system incorporated. Additional skill slots are awarded as you class change upwards. (E.g. when you advance from swordsman to knight, you are given 2-3 new skill slots, keep the swordsman skill, but also get knight's unique skill). This also open up potential for class/skill tree specific slots, class specific skill upgrade, etc. Other basic functionalities the game need are skill visibility, speed up (e.g. 2...
