20 years later, and if you haven't played this game already it's worth grabbing and doing a Google search for the OpenLoco community project. Also check out the Transport Tycoon forums for an extremely friendly community and modding help.

This game is fantastic. I'm a huge fan of RollerCoaster Tycoon but I could never get into Transport Tycoon because of how different the two games played. This game is essentially Transport Tycoon but it plays extremely similarly to RollerCoaster Tycoon. I've spent 18 hours on this game already and I think I'm going to be spending a lot more on it in the future. For how cheap you can get this game during a sale, I recommend you a least give it a try with OpenLoco, the open source re-implementation of this game.

Epic game i only whis there was a sandbox mode though besides that the game is sweet I love the mods that people made for this game
