Thumper has this unexplainable aesthetic that perfectly mixes psychedelic/horror and rhythm based gameplay that feels much more violent and visceral than other rhythm games, which is something I didn't know I needed LOL. This game makes you want to actually go back and replay it so you can hear what the soundtrack sounds like when you perfect everything. It's also not afraid to kick your ass especially when you get to the weirder time signatures, but it's well worth the price tag if you're into that sorta thing. Also probably not the game for you if you have epilepsy or strong motion sickness

User Reviews
I love to play this game to ease irrational thoughts and feelings, and tire myself down to sleep. Fun fact: every level of this game is also a time signature for that level.
Acid Trip without acid
Thumper is as punishing as it is rewarding, the smallest mistake leaves you one hit away from death, but every perfectly timed turn, every slam against the track, fighting back against the world that is trying to end you, is absolute euphoria.
Excellent game.
If you are interested in a psychedelic and intense rhythm game with disturbing and otherworldly visuals and soundtrack, this is a great game for you.
sure
Just seeing the achievements we can see after the first 3 levels it drops massive because there is no rhythm is just repeat over and over again
Eldritch drug trip beetle rollercoaster simulator with awesome music. 10/10 experience! Super tough, I love it
This game alone is enough to justify a VR headset. We really just started playing, and it is already an incredible experience.
