i heard about this game because i follow the developer on youtube, so i was pretty excited to try this game out. however, this game turned out to be quite bland in content, story, powerups and overall feel of achievement, so i can't recomend it. let's start with the story, as it is extremely simple: every computer has an ancient version of chess and this update threatens to erase it from your system, so you must play as a pawn and stop this update. of course i can't expect a shakespearian plot out of chess, but even as simple as it is it makes no sense, since you're the one that both started the update and ended it. so everything boils down to a plot where the main incident is a problem that didn't need fixing to begin with. How to play:

Using traditional Chess moves, traverse levels. Opening item boxes, navigating traps, gates, doors, terrain and travelators. Move carefully! Enemies can move like chess pieces too.
Once all levels (sectors) have been formatted, you can take on the boss! Defeat all 4 bosses to activate the final act.You will be graded after this, so work on your optimisation skills! Every level is free to improve upon during and after completing the game.
