User Reviews
The aesthetics and sound design do all of the work here. The gameplay isn't very deep, and you shouldn't go in expecting a coherent story; it's an episodic game that's still in development ten years later (episode 2 released last November under the title Alice's Lullaby). But you're going to remember playing this game for a long time. This has a level of style that I haven't seen any other horror game even come close to replicating. Worth your time.
*** Most of the negative reviews here were (rightfully) written when the promised future installments of this series seemed abandoned, BUT after 10 years we finally got an episode 2 under Alice's Lullaby, which thankfully was not a thoughtless cash grab in itself. Both of the current episodes are great and have a unique kind of demented, eerie atmosphere that's worth checking out.
