About This Game

Combat Programming Roguelike

AutoRogue is a roguelike where you combine skills with conditions to automate battles. you can sit back, enjoy your coffee, and watch your carefully crafted automated battles unfold.

Condensing the Best of Auto-Battles

In this game, everything is decided before the battle begins. Your available items, build direction, and the unique traits of enemies change every time, making it fun to devise the optimal strategy. Careful planning will always give you an advantage.

Explore Your Own Unique Build

In AutoRogue, you can enhance basic skills by combining them with special conditions to create new effects. For example:

 • A skill may reduce HP upon use but lower its cost.

 • A skill could increase your max HP permanently if it lands the finishing blow.

 • A skill’s cost may double, but it activates twice in succession.

With a wide variety of combinations, you can create your own unique and exciting build.

The More You Play, the More Fun It Gets

In this game, it’s not the character that gets stronger, but the player. As you gain experience, you'll sharpen your knowledge and strategy. With different enemies, skills, and events appearing in every run, you can enjoy the game over and over again.

Pretty Fun roguelike, beat it on hard with both characters pretty easily tho, some challenge missions would be good. Overall not a lot of content for the money tho.

Auto Rogue delivers a compelling and distinct twist on the traditional roguelike formula by stripping away manual control and putting strategy at the forefront. From the outset, the game signals its intent: rather than testing your reflexes or micromanagement skills, it challenges your ability to construct efficient, dynamic, and self-sustaining combat routines. Players assemble builds using a pool of skills, conditions, and relics, then send their character into procedurally generated battles that play out automatically. It’s a deceptively simple setup that unfolds into deep, satisfying complexity as you begin to uncover the multitude of synergies and interactions between systems. The beauty of Auto Rogue lies in how it respects the player's intelligence—it assumes you can think three moves ahead and rewards you generously when you do. Visually, the game adopts a clean and readable pixel-art style that doesn’t try to steal the spotlight but supports the core gameplay perfectly....

This is a super fun game if you're a fan of the genre. The core combat mechanics are quite unique and fun to experiment with. There are some missing or incorrect translations to English, I'll be happy to fill them in if the dev needs help The difficulties are strange as I have no issues on hard, maybe it's because I'm experienced in this genre It's only the (Untranslated) difficulty that is actually a challenge

Does "programming autobattler roguelike" sound good to you? That description certainly resonated with me, and so I bought the game minutes after finding out that it exists. I have zero regrets. It's charming, inventive and a lot of fun! Maybe I'm a bit slower than the reviewers who claim that it's too easy or too short, but finishing with both characters on the hardest difficulty took me 16.8 hours play time. That's definitely enough for the price for me. If the dev ever makes a DLC for this game I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

Absolutely love it. Definitely needs some translation work, though that's not game-breaking for me. I'd love to see more playable characters, fights/levels, and abilities.

Needs more characters and enemies. Needs more floofy cat and death monster. Dev should add some achievements too. I beat this games too fast thanks to the summon wizards.

Fun game. kinda short. not a ton of variability between runs. would love to see a few more characters. rn there are only 2. If there were 4 or 5 I think it would be way better. just a bit more variety. it feels like when you beat the game 2 or 3 times then there is not much more to do with that character. for $5 totally worth it. would love 2 see more. 4/5
