About This Game
You thought you knew the rules. You don't.
Have you ever done something you regret? What if I told you there was a way to fix it? Make it so that something never happened at all; or perhaps, just happened differently. What if I told you it was as simple as a game of solitaire?
What if I told you that the game’s name was Occlude?
The game’s not simple. The rules are hidden, and you find them by playing and experimenting. Make sure you have some coins - the coins will show when you’re on the right path. There are seven Rituals, each their own puzzle, increasing in difficulty.
There are seven Entities, and they know you’re playing. Don’t worry about them. Worrying doesn’t do anything. I shouldn’t have mentioned them at all.
Occlude is an occult game of solitaire stuffed with secrets. Piece together the rules even as they resist your attempts to decipher them.
Uncover the brain-melting story behind the game that was never a game as you chip away at reality one card at a time. Develop your mastery of each Ritual to gain access to even deeper, forbidden lore in the Archives.
Solitaire: but not as you know it.
Seven rituals: unlock increasingly complex card puzzles with unique hidden rulesets.
Two modes: The fiendishly difficult Classic Mode and our new, pleasantly vexing Story Mode with less punishing RNG, a second free cell and unlimited Undo.
Reality-bending narrative: uncover a cosmic horror story about a world broken by countless attempts to fix it.
Atmospheric sound design: immersive audio cues that shift based on your closeness to solving each puzzle.
Secret documents: discover fragments of forbidden texts that provide clues about Occlude's origins.
Terrible secrets: for those foolish enough to look for them.

User Reviews
a neat take on a solitaire puzzle game, using a special ruleset of solitaire where you build stacks of cards from both directions,(ace up and king down) and each level is a "ritual" with unique rules to determine what card must be the final card in each suit's stack to perform the ritual correctly pros -well written cosmic horror with interesting worldbuilding -a simple but appealing visual style -a fun and unique solitare variant even WITHOUT the eldritch horror cons -quite short, a full completionist playthrough took me 6 hours, and much of that was a RNG based achievement, the normal game took me 2-3 hours to get through the 7 rituals(note, there is a upcoming update that will be adding more puzzles that may improve this) -a bit disappointing that the underlying rules of the game of solitare never change, only the tells for what card must go on top change, a bit of missed potential there all and all a quite satisfying game that's doing something interesting, my main complaint i...
Scary Solitaire
Damn this game makes me feel stupid, but like in a cool way
a delightful headscratcher
I like solitaire, and I like games with obtuse puzzles that have to be found through play, so naturally I had to try Occlude. I found it pretty straightforward but satisfying, each puzzle increasing the complexity just enough to leave me perplexed at the start. The story, as well, is a gradual escalation of supernatural stakes, and I enjoyed the twists there. If Occlude seems like the kind of game you'd enjoy, I definitely think you will and should pick it up!
solitaire with a puzzle inside.
Really a unique twist on solitaire, having you keep track of many different variables as you try to get every card in its proper place. The puzzles go from being mind-bending at first to a triviality as you slowly uncover the rules of your chosen Focus. 10/10 would play
with the fabric of reality
again.
Really neat. Took me a little over 6h to finish without any help whatsoever, almost half of that time was working on the last level.
Me at the beginning of every new level in Occlude - "god im so dumb, why so hard" Me when I 4-coin the level - "hehe I'm a genius"
