Edit: Now that I've finished the game, I came here to say that I can't recommend it. It's too buggy and too short to be considered finished and the only real challenge here is trying to have a good control over your character. It could be so much more... A well-designed adventurer with a engaging story, Parvaneh is fun and enjoyable, but it still has to evolve. First of all, it needs a save button or something that indicates when the autosave happens, because I don't know. The game also needs a jump button. There's a lot of adventurers out there that doesn't need one, but it's not the case for this game. Sometimes it's a little hard to control Fadia (the main character), specially when we have to jump across gaps or reach a platform, thus meaning that the game needs to improve its overall mechanics. Also, some of the missions that I've found so far lack a little bit of creativity, so do the enemies. Besides bringing up these problems, I'm really liking it, this game has a world and a ...

Suggesting this game is really hard. There are some "Show Stopper" bugs and problems in this game which can totally ruin the player's experience, problems like jumping and platforming mechanics (which almost made me quit the game) and also enemies AI that makes no fun for player during combat scenes. About graphics, I enjoyed the overall theme and this part of game is well performed. But after all, this game is worth trying and if you are a fan of "Fable" series or "Zelda" (like me), I could recommend this game.
ParVaNeh: Legacy of Light's Guardians
...is a action-adventure game. Fadia's village is under attack by the Khazdaks, so he takes it upon himself to discover the source of the disease and rid Naria of this threat.
⚙ Game Description & Mechanics ⚙
It is a typical top-view adventure game in the veins of classical Zelda games, walking around in all directions (8 directions, actually, since there's no controller support to enable an analog control), attacking in melee with a sword or at a distance with a sling. You can jump across slim gaps or climb ledges of a limited height. There are levers, karts, and other objects that can be interacted with and moved around, whether to smash enemies or to use as platforms. A crafting system is introduced through the use of resources in a Survo puzzle: a table grid in which you must place the correct resources, and quantity of resources, in each row and columns. Each craftable item will be different (both in terms of puz...
Rating: bad (4/10)
Introduction Parvaneh: Legacy of the Light's Guardians is an isometric adventure game, where in the role of a boy living in a peaceful little town, the player has to fight the monsters besieging it and save the world from spreading illness. Being made by a little indie studio, Parvaneh shows right away, that it is not a AAA adventure game, but more of a niche adventure for children or relaxed gamers with a simple crafting system, a simple combat and a simple story. If you are looking for a high quality long term game, you better move on. Since this game receives a vote down from me, I start off with the negative aspects that contributed towards my decision. 🔴 CONs 🔴

Simple gameplay, easy combat, boring minigames.
Aged graphics with low amount of detail and a lot of re-used models.
Repetetive soundtrack and unsatisfying music background.
Buggy jumping visuals and physics, which makes harder to finish minigames.
Short, a...

I wanted to like this game, because I find the world charming. A lot of work went into worldbuilding, with story pages to find and some cutscenes that could be found in anime. I also liked the music and other sound effects, even though there wasn't much variation here. What wasn't good? The controls. I'm absolutely positive this game has the worst controls I've ever had the misfortune to use. You only have the ability to move with WASD, but the game often requires you to climb or jump gaps. This is supposed to happen "automatically" when you go in the direction of the gap/height. Something does indeed happen, but... the game checks and rechecks whether you are on or off a box, slingshotting Fadia (the character) between the top of the box and the ground. As movement like this is something you have to use in a boss fight, it becomes frustrating fast. And that boss itself... I restarted the fight many times, as one attack kept bugging the player character, causing me to become stuck. G...

Finished the game in 5 parts, quick easy simple and fun. The jump animation is a little buggy, but even with that I enjoyed the game. 7/10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEDFTW1m32s
