gameplay loop doesn't really evolve. after a while pure straight curiosity drives you. but there's nothing over that hill. nothing

About This Game
Gridkeeper is a visual incremental game about running "Grids" to mine and sell fuel, research tech, and generate mana. As you'll progress through the game, you'll unlock better tech and add new bigger Grids to your arsenal.
How to mine fuel?
Easy. Just set up a mine and buy a bunch of MineBots. These hardworking robots will be dedicated to mining fuel and delivering it right to your stockpile. Just make sure you always have enough storage cells to store all the fuel these bots will be mining. Sell this fuel to generate cash, and use that cash to upgrade and buy more MineBots!
Research and upgrade tech
As you generate cash, make sure to invest some of that into Research Modules. These powerful computers will generate tech points, which can be used to unlock new technology to make your life easier, like bigger mines, faster bot movement, and next-gen MiningBots!
Expand your empire
As you'll progress through the game and hit revenue targets, you'll gather enough resources to buy better Grids. This will take your mining operation to the next level, with more power at your disposal to run MiningBots, Research Modules, and Mana Generators!

User Reviews
Good for a bit of fun, but like others have mentioned, at the time of this review it is very limited. Hopefully the dev continues to work on this to add more content as it has a lot of potential, but at the moment it's really only good for a couple of hours before things feel old.
Fun Idle game easy 100% would buy again.
Love this. So chill compared to something like Keep on Mining. Constant dopamine hit, satisfying (enough) progression and awesome sound track, makes all the difference. Super simple, but imo one of the best incrementals I've played.
Very repetitive
Decent experience for the price, but lacks depth and is very repetitive.
Fun little game, however this is one of those idler progression kind of games. Meaning I should be able to run it in the background while I do other things. I cant
Took me 11.9 hours to complete the entire game, and 100% the achievements. I had to force myself to play this in the final 2-3 hours, since the gameplay is super monotonous. Echoing what the other reviewers here have said, the gameplay is super basic. You're exposed to everything the game has to offer in the first 5mins of gameplay. After that, it's just a whole lot of waiting, collecting, upgrading. Rinse and repeat. Zero new mechanics when you move on to the next tier/stage/whatever it's called. Even though it's under 2 bucks right now, I don't think it's worth it. Your time is better spent on nodebuster or Digseum (both of which I've already replayed a couple times). Even Click and Conquer (which is just a slightly worse version of Digseum) is more engaging than this..
Good enough set-up, except you finish everything in the first layer, then it is literally rinse+repeat until the anticlimactic end. No new skills, no prestige, nothing.
