A good old retro dungeon crawler with turn-based combat system. A game I loved when I was young. This version received some questionable changes, such as the "corpses stay in the party" or the new dual wielding mechanic where DEX substitutes STR, making the game way too easy if you know what you're doing. Speedrunning is still possible. Everything else remained the same as in the original game from 1998, so if you're looking for a modern game, this might not be for you. But if you want nostalgia, or perhaps you are itching for a retro experience, Gates of Skeldal is definitely a good choice.
