U.N.P.O.C. Vessel of Opportunity

I kinda like the idea of this game, but it felt too rough around the edges for me. sure its casual and I don't die if I don't eat, but when I then do catch a fish as big as my character, cook and eat it, and I get either zero (likely bug) saity, or an amount so small that I can hardly tell i hate a massive fish, well then the point of trying to stay kinda goes away. Other little annoying things like campfires auto lightning when it isn't raining, so I get overheated when I stand at my crafting bence in the blazing sun just doesn't make much sense to me. I'm sure this game will be fine in time, but for now its a no and a refund for me.

UNPOC Vessel of Opportunity (review): ------------------------------------------ UNPOC is a nice Survival game with an interesting story of finding treasure. In the game you can build different types of buildings, collect and grow food, but most importantly, look for treasure. I hate giving negative reviews on small, indie games that only cost $9.00 but I have to this time. Right off bat the performance is terrible, especially for a simple top down game. I have a pretty good system and run almost any UE5 games on higher settings, but this game I had to set everything to low or medium just to get above 50 fps. The camera angle and movement while swimming, which I'm assuming will be a big part of the game, is very janky. My biggest issue, however, is the decision making on most of the mechanics of the game. Why did hundred of boxes of cloth (apparently blue jeans) wash up on my starter island? Why can I make a perfect tent (which is red btw and not blue) from the cloth and driftwood but no make a simple backpack or rucksack to carry smaller items? Why do I need a variety of foods to fill my hunger bar? I can eat 3 giant fish but not get my hunger past 50%?! I can eat 5 whole watermelons but not get my hunger past 10%?! (On this last one I get that the ...

I recommend this game after my first play, which is something I dont currently, do, its quite rare I leave a review at all, not through ignorance, I just forget. But This is good Developer, working hard on this game, listening to your requests, and will input them into the game if they are good enough. The game looks nice and crisp I thought from first look, and the updates are flowing nicely too. So I do recommend this game, although its still in the early build phase, but I think its coming along nicely, its just all about the patience for this Developer as he is working alone on this project im sure. So in all a good job with regular updates. I will recommend this and also have a series going on this game. We must support our Indi Developers. Fun game, cool concept. Really like the puzzles!

Absolutely enjoyed this game. I completed it and now im starting over with a larger map. I look forward to more items being added.

I enjoy the game very much relaxing i didnt find any bug BUT i would like fighting mechanism hunting animals and hunger and thirst i believe needs a little bit of calibration. But i liked the game a lot and ill keep playing hope developer dont abandon it
