I ignored this at first thinking it was outside my wheelhouse. Then after watching NL play it and seeing the price was $3, I picked it up. I do not regret it. Simple to understand and plenty of fun for the price.

Honestly, just big kudos to the dev for making a fun game that costs as much as a candybar and even making a demo for it.
I love games where you choose 1 out of 3 options with an option to reroll and/or skip, creating countless unique synergies! Gotta be one of my favorite genders
You know how we were told random strangers will offer drugs to us on streets? That "stranger" is on steam and is offering this game.. 25 hours, forgot I have family, responsibilities and need for sleep.. I love this game but I hate the addictive part of it.. but I am not strong enough to battle it, so I gave up and became junkie.. Sadly it seems like dev loves his game and will be updating regularly, meaning that this guy now owns my soul.. sigh.. Stay away from this game or join our ghetto of addicts. Your choice, but I warned you..
I can already feel that this game has potential. With a little love, this is the kind of game that a dev could support for years to come; it's like it's built specifically to be future-proof. I can see workshop support going hog wild here, too. It's such a compelling game. Each run starts off super simple, and watching your game plan slowly evolve and refine itself into a nonsense-mess over the course of ~20 minutes feels excellent. Fun to watch, fun to play, and I cannot wait for it to come to mobile. Big thumbs up.
I have around 40 roguelikes in my steam library. This may be the most addicting out of all of them. This is hands down the best $3 youll ever spend. I keep coming back to this game unlike any other roguelike I own. There is so much content. I havent even unlocked it all yet. And they keep adding more! At the time of reviewing this, theyve just added a ton of new stuff for me to explore. There are so many items already in this game, and the plays you can pull off with some of them feels incredible. Build crafting has never been more fun than in this game. Every build feels like you can unlock crazy potential. There are some items that I initially thought, "oh man this sucks, who'd wanna go for this build", only to find crazy synergy with that same strat hours later. Just a warning tho, its very easy to accidentally stay up until 4am playing this.
At a glance, the game is fun. The gameplay gently challenges you so you'll observe, learn, and adapt. Guided by your newfound knowledge, you navigate the uncertain waters of RNG-reliant gameplay, sailing swiftly towards victory with style and flair—such is the story of any good roguelike. For one night of fun, I do recommend trying Merge Maestro if you'd like. In a world of $80 Mario, the $3 price tag is not obstructive. There's even a free demo! However... After my experiences playing, I was surprised to see this game is not in early access. The developer here has some very clear strengths and weaknesses. Whereas games like Balatro feel well-rounded between presentation and gameplay, Merge Maestro feels more clumsily-hewn, as if made with less wisdom and insight to guide it. I'll discuss the visuals, the audio, the gameplay, and then the surprisingly-spooky settings menu. So... the visuals. The main visual feature is the Emoji tokens/enemies. Super Auto Pets did it too. Emojis wo...
This game slaps. Simple and fun, but has tons of depth.
I cant believe merging a bunch of emojis could be this fun. Please add more enemies and packs in the future, even as DLCs would be fine
This is the most enjoyable and addicting game since baletro. It can be frustrating sometimes, and some enemy powers are OP but when you stumble on a grouple of tiles with perfect synergy it is *chef's kiss*
