Extremely buggy in a lot of major aspects (especially with regard to the speed up feature). Poor game balance, and very little variation in terms of how/where to build towers. Level design is especially poor. There are a lot of much cheaper Tower Defense games out there that are a lot better in every way than this game.

User Reviews
A generic tower defense offering generic maps where you defend your base from unidentifiable critters while a generic voice repeats the same sentences at every mouse click. This game furiosly needs a graphic designer, a level designer and an English translator. There are flash TD games that offer a better experience for free. On the positive side, the developer seems very active. This is my first refund ever.
A solid Entry in a long forgotten Genre I don´t get why noone plays this game. I scored in the top 5 on every single level i played and judging by the number of reviews, either the genre itself has been forgotten, or this game is burried deep within steam so noone can find it... Sure, it doesn´t look amazing, the soundeffects are absolutly horrible (my opinion) and it lacks a bit of clarity in some cases (be it the enemy lines overlaping in circles so you can´t exactly see where they will go or the lack of explenations on which unit belongs to what type). But still, the mechanics work great, the levels are challenging and there are a lot of modes to play. There´s also a checkpoint function similar to the one in Defense Grid where this game took a lot of its inspiration. There is enough content here to make me easily recommend it to you. After all, there aren´t that many TDs on Steam that have a great mechanic so if you´re interested in that genre, check out this game. it easily...
This game reminds me of a flash game I used to play back in 2008-9. Seems like the same developer built more on top of the really simple concept including stages, different modes and new tower types. Love it. Thanks! Dangerously addicting for such a simple concept! Definitely worth the money.
Quite a solid tower defense title. Solar Division offers some fine tuned, thoughtful gameplay. It is actually a bit challenging after the first 2 levels. I usually lose at least half my lives. I like that the speed of enemies is affected by their pathing (ie. they go slower around bends) The UI is really nice, clean, easy to find what you need to know. The game doesn't hold your hand too much, you have to use your brain and learn the mechanics a bit. Very impressed.
Good game, but doesnt work on my new MacBook Pro made in mid 2016. The display is stuck in a unrecoverable resolution that puts all of the user interface off screen and unavailable. I got luckhy once and managed to click what sounded like a button (hear a little sound effect like you get when scrolling over something you can click on) and managed to change the resolution to fit. I thought I was in luck, but alas no such luck. I quit the game after an hour playing (and REALLY liking the game), then thinking all was well since i changed the resolution to fit it would start right up same as I last set it to. Nope. Same oversized interface again. Couldnt get lucky off screen again, and gave up. The developer exoplained that they are looking intio this issue with the newer MacBook Pro models. New models often have new display needs, or settings. That said, I would suggest if you have a MacBook Pro made in mid 2016 or newer, wait until a new update comes that addresses the issue. This is ...
How the developers can justify selling this game at £10.99 I will never know. This is a rip-off, pure and simple. Stay well away.
One of those games that Steam could really use a "Neutral" opinion rather than just YES! or NO! Basically: Recommended IF on sale. I love the Tower Defense genre, and this is a fairly decent one. However, that's all it is: Decent. The levels are repetitive and uninteresting, the graphics (Should you care about such a thing) aren't that stellar (harr harr), and the towers are alright but not spectacularly balanced. The more expensive ones are hardly worth using. One nice thing is you have different modes to play for each level you unlock though. Would I recommend this? "Yes.... But only when on sale, and only if you're not expecting anything amazing or unique". Basically, it's not worth the $15 asking price, but if you catch it at a substantial discount and have some spare change, there's no harm in at least giving it a try. Otherwise, I'd pass it and go for Dungeon Warfare 1 or 2, GemCraft, or so on.
One of those games that you think about hourrs later. Still seems to be a few bugs, but makes you think about alternate strategies every time you fail. Did not think I would like the idea of leaderboards, but it certainly keeps you focused with the thought - what could I have done better!!
a different TD, recent patch added additional options.. which break the game. seems levels just stop sending mobs. Try fast forwarding and nothing. It would normally get a thumbs up but now its .. a down till fixed. edit: seems thus far my problem with the game seems to be located in one map, that I have seen thus far.
