This very elegantly layers a bunch of great ideas onto a simple incremental game. To start, it's a straightforward incremental game about positioning your mouse on screen relative to asteroids. Then it layers an elegant mid-run upgrade system on top of that - and then it adds a bullet hell. And throughout all this, it has some of the best audio design I've seen in an indie game - all-in game events are keyed to distinct audio queues, and the music is blended seamlessly through the whole experience, never ending, instead keeping you in the zone as the game progresses - much the same way as AAA games have 'reactive audio' for combat.

This game starts off fun. I really like the coffee theme and a lot of the mechanics early on. Unfortunately over time the screen gets so cluttered that it becomes nearly impossible to tell what you are doing. There was a point before I got the moons orbiting my ship that I kept losing track of where my ship was. It didn't help that my shop kept shooting out a rocket that was very similar to the look of the ship. Navigation is another problem. Your ship follows your mouse cursor around. Simple to follow at first, but once you have a million things moving in all directions, it gets difficult to figure out where you cursor is. Another issue is that your boost doesn't boost in a direction, to your mouse cursor, which means if your mouse cursor isn't far enough away and you boost you might not boost your way out of the danger area. As far as enemy mechanics, everything on it's own is pretty typical, such as waves of bullets you have to navigate through, Things that explode leaving lar...
Fantastic game, quick to pick up and play for any period of time. Just what I was looking for.
The main reason i bought this game is that i am a coffee lover and this game mine coffee beans. I dont really enjoy bullet hell(mainly because i am bad at this), but those upgrades do keep me playing.
I have played hundreds of steam games and never left a review before, but this game was so great I had to make an exception. A lot to love about this one.
a fun little game that takes the skill tree and actually makes it reasonable instead of a neverending grind after the first 10 min. but its actually enganing and challaning throughout the entire game. very well made and im happy i saw it and bought it
Honestly a fantastic incremental game all round, good pacing for progression. Good solid build up to the mega bullet hell that is the end game. I wish it was longer to play more!
I bought Astro Prospector on a whim for 4,49€, and it was totally worth it! It’s a fun and easy-to-pick-up bullet hell game where you upgrade your ship and take on increasingly difficult levels.
Fun game, beat it in about 4 hours or so. Worth the $5 I paid for it. Good sense of progression, nice art style, sound effects are on point. My only nitpick is I wish they displayed more stats on the screen like how many coffee beans you've collected in each run. Not that I'd be able to look at them without crashing my ship. Also took me a while to figure out the flow rings count was actually displayed on the top left of the screen.
Fun game. I played the demo on itch before it came out. Was definitely worth the money. Unfortunately there's no replay value. Great game if you enjoy incremental/upgrade genre.
