Greenhouse: Schism

I've followed this game since it was just Schism on itch.io, and it has come a far way! I love everything about it and it has a nice touch of challenge to it if you want to go for new game+ or hitless.

[At the time of writing this review; game not yet finished] Deciding not to buy a cup of overpriced coffee today, I decided to put my $7 to a different use. After playing up to what I presume to be based on the achievements and description, the final boss (and getting stuck) I decided it was a good time to give my thoughts since I'm ending my play session. G:S is a pretty classic linear 2D Platformer, what you see is what you get. There's a sprinkling of deeper lore and wider implications, but it's the fries on side of the main plate; the game isn't interested in dumping exposition on you and I respect that it doesn't want to waste your time. I admit however, the lore that we were given intrigued me, which left me unsure if I should praise the game for having *just* enough lore that I felt like I wanted to know more about the world and how it worked, or *recommend* that the game could take its time at the beginning to give people a little more about the setting.
