Chester One is a very flawed platformer and yet it has a lot of unique qualities. Despite having 236 achievements it is not one of those achievement only games. In fact, there is plenty of content like different worlds with multiple stages and hidden collectibles. The game offers 12 specialized characters with unique auto-attacks and special abilities. Certain chesters will do better against enemies depending on damage type and situation. Also, there is a very cool mechanic that allows you to change the look of the game. Every skin also affects the world in different ways depending on passive bonus. Not to mention that game just looks very unique, kinda like a sketchbook. The difficulty can be pretty high but you can lower it. If you decide to beat the game on harder mode the game rewards you with extra unlocks. Partial controller support worked well enough for me on F310. All of the characters can gain levels which make their abilities more powerful. If you are having too m...

The unique artsyle and excellent soundtrack makes this platformer different from ordinary ones. The ability to switch between multiple artstyles for every level is quite amazing, with very nice music that compliments each level. There's tons of collectibles and characters to unlock for the completionists out there which gives the game replayability. The gameplay mechanics are simple, but the later levels will test your skills making it quite a challenging, but overall fun game. For only 3 bucks this game is more than worth it for the amount of time you can get out of playing! Definitely one to try. Wish the purchase came with the OST tho
It's a pretty good game and you should probably have it on your wishlist
A very interesting game. I'm not normally one for platformers but the concept of being able to change the art style really intrigued me as well as the levelling and multiple characters. Overall I highly enjoyed this games despite the constant death (my own fault ;) ) and would definitely reccomend giving it a try! It's absolutely worth it. I also made this short let's play in case you want to check the game out before buying: https://youtu.be/DZZiE7LVsBU
Angry video game nerd would have a field day ripping this game apart.
A very special game that you should play.
Fun and chaotic platformer. Enemies are well made and annoying, avoidance and fight is both challanging enough. I liked the graphical tuning (styles, zoom). Collectibles are well hidden. The platforming is a bit slidey. Decent game, lot of work went into it.
I want to love this game, but there are just too many minor bugs and glitches peppered throughout. I consistently find myself clipping through platforms, or in one level, dying at random while riding a horizontal platform. Which is something I don't understand: when I purchased the original release on the X-Box 360, it didn't have near this many technical problems. The art and music are great (I wish I could find the soundtrack), but the lack of polish is holding Chester back from being a truly enjoyable platformer.
This is nice game thanks
