Really nice gem of a metroidvania right there. Has a nice mix of elements from Souls games (level up + simple attributes) and elements from the classics the genre, plus a modified version of the charm mechanics from Hollow Knight.

great story, great score, great game

This game is a decent play. Boss fights are somewhat time consuming or aggravating with the occasional good fight here and there. The difficulty is really avoiding things that could've been orchestrated better. The main thing I would say turns me off from this game is collecting the objective but losing the ability to fast travel or the run backs. Now that I stated that, it is a good vibe and an interesting world. You do have this curiosity of what is going on in the world. The atmosphere is not too bad and our character along with the NPCS really sells it. Turnings the end I did want to collect everything but I was tired out and just wanted to end it. My need for exploration rose the further I went into the world which is about what you want from a game in this genre. Things i would of fixed..the map layout is not entirely accurate. The spawning/crowded of enemies with no end in sight, especially in a certain boss battle. Towards the finale of the game, your told where to go vag...

Worth it! I will long for a part 2 for this :( The environment , the music and the calmness of isolation. looking forward for more Old Moon and Humble Games!!!

Sluggish controls, no enemy variety, and a lack of save points make this admittedly pretty game tedious and repetitive.
