I like what I have played of it, which is very little so far. Not sure why there are no reviews yet so here we are. Edit: After playing for a bit longer... The '' Puzzles'' in the game are pretty basic and rooms repeat pretty often. The trading between towns does not really matter as much. You can easily fill your inventory with whatever and make plenty of cash. Enemy levels and exp seem to make little sense. Snakes give 50 exp no matter level and some things give 30 or 25. Still recommend the game to anyone who wants a rather cheap time waster if you want to run around find collectibles and try to finish all of the dungeons for fun.

No challenge at all. Walk around with fairly poor controls. Collect stuff sitting in the open. The puzzles consist of pressing a button right in front of the gate.

When I first launched Mini Merchant I knew I was going to love this game. This cosy RPG exploration game feels super nostalgic with the gorgeous pixel art style and retro/whimsical soundtrack that reminds me a lot of Pokemon on the gameboy. The game has the perfect balance of challenging gameplay mechanics and the quiet thrill of exploring the world and collecting new items without any pressure. This is a must play for anyone who loves exploring and managing pixel perfect little worlds!

Honestly I appreciate the game the more I play it. At first I was concerned because the game thrusts you into the game with no context or handholding whatsoever. The game isn't particularly difficult yet, but it's charm comes from the desire to explore. When you discover new areas, you're left with figurines to collect, or new loot, or unlocking other characters based on footsteps. And the music in the game is wonderful. That combined with the retro inspired artstyle makes it quite rewarding to see every corner of the map. Because I don't really care for the complexities of the in game economy amongst traders, I trade and do small quests to increase my standing with guilds but I am more determined to discover the entire map of the game and the figurines with it. There might be some content I'm missing but it's fine. The game is more casual than hardcore in my eyes and I already know the game is going to be a huge time sink as a result. I'm excited to see how the studio supports the g...
