About This Game

▶ "But I'm still not the strongest...!"

  •  Snow • Fall is a deck builder rogue-like that mixes unique and strategic gameplay with fast-paced fights and satisfying item synergies.

  • Play a Cube and have Droplets face off. The person who rolls the higher number gets to attack.

  • Watch as your character performs high-damage combos against the enemy at your command. Or have the opposite happen, if you're bad.

  • Each battle is a test of your game knowledge and ability to adapt to unknown circumstances.

  • The more you play, the more you'll understand. Make game destroying combinations or be sent back to the main menu, it all depends on you.

"If you can't beat them physically, you'll just have to outsmart them!"

  • At the end of each battle, choose between new items or Cubes to add to your inventory.

  • With over 70 different Cubes and 60 items, the way you play each run will be entirely different.

  • Build your deck around whatever archetype you enjoy playing the most.

  • Unlock-able content through Steam Achievements.

  • Random events and enemy variety will make sure that even with the same deck, the key to victory will never be so straight-forward.

"Don't look at me...! This coward, hiding behind a closed door doesn't deserve you!"

  • Play as the Liu family as they find themselves tangled up in a series of misfortunate events, all starting with a reckless decision to rob a Station...

  • Explore the authoritarian country of Heijing through the eyes of the citizens with the most potential.

  • Watch the tragicomedy unfold throughout multiple Side Stories.

Yeah the game is pretty fun, a very similar style to the LOR format but with some simple but noticeable changes. I haven't gotta particularly far but I still enjoy the rouge-like mechanics. Some small issues I would say are the images for the characters during the story segments are a little like pixelated at the edges, though that might just be me, and that whenever you die and restart, you have to go through the entire story segment again and I don't think there's a skip button? At least is isn't obvious to me. Also the art guy for Mika's story segment is a pretty neat miniboss, until i have to fight them again along with another 3 waves of enemies. Not sure if I got unlucky with my card choices and items but after having to restart and fight the art guy several times, it seems like that guy needs some sort of nerf, maybe to their roll ranges or the amount of statuses they apply, both to themselves and us. Overall, I think the game is pretty neat even if I'm having some starting issu...

The Children yearn for more library of runia (I'll see this game grow with great ambitions)

A "PM-like" of passably competent make and design. Uses most of the mechanics that fans of this sort of thing are familiar with, but with very scattered and bipolar balancing. Almost every other Cube and item has a Droplet effect or stat description that is almost laughably clunky, and so is the very basic gameplay, at times, but I understand the need arose to make this game be different and stand out. Still, it's fun to mess around in, and the women are uncharacteristically cute. I just hope, in my dream of dreams, in my heart of hearts, that this was not a student project.

Wonder if there is a library, and if it is in ruina.

First anyways now that that's out of the way, so far this has been fun. as someone who loved Library of Ruina, it mimics its combat pretty well but also manages to be its own thing, with some obvious references to statuses from both Ruina and Limbus, as well as its own unique buffs/debuffs. I got three nodes away from beating the first side story on my first attempt, before being clobbered by the Ring inspired dude on the four wave node, though i wont scream nerf because it was probably skill issue and vertical difficulty spikes are part of the project moon experience, including the games they have inspired so far, overall, great game. Would recommend, especially if you've played Library of Ruina before

Really fun roguelike deckbuilder, it's still in early access and thus doesn't have much content, but it lasts some time(haven't finished everything yet with 13 hours) and for how cheap it is it's really not a problem. Quite clearly inspired by library of ruina, but the gameplay is fundamentally different, which makes it stand out. There still need to be balance changes and the gameplay can be further explored upon, but the game in it's current state shows promise, especially since it's largely made by one person(also, updates are frequent and the developper listens to feedback, so the future seems bright).

As much as I love this game, the rng bullshit is worse then it's inspiration somehow (Looking at you disk X card) Also in I & Fall, I was having an amazing run when they used arterial targeted, while I only had 0 water cards. They then proceed to reuse both droplets 3 times and turn my 68 hp to death. 20% chance my ass Edit: This was before patch 0.1.4
