Good idea, flawed execution. This game is an obvious copy of Nodebuster, but nothing is polished and it feels like a beta without an end goal. The price is right at least, but it could have been a good game by making the weaker abilities cheaper and setting up some sort of proper ending. The game doesn't have a proper end, as beating the final section does nothing and it's way too much of a slog to buy all the abilities. Maybe I'm supposed to idle during endgame for hours to buy all the abilities, but once I was able to beat all the sections my desire to play the game was pretty much done. The rare currency (half of the things to buy in the game) seems mostly useless as most of the helpers do so little damage compared to your main weapon they may as well be ignored. Only one of the helpers did any appreciable damage, and by the time I got them I was already at the end of the game. Maybe fully powering them up would be interesting, but there's so little rare currency even at end game...

Pretty good game for the price. Incrementally get stronger and can let it idle one you get it going. Perfect for killing a few hours.
Mild recommendation. For the price it's okay. It's a strange game. It made me feel like something I should actively play, but actually after 2 hours, it played much better idling and you should just let ships get auto-hit by you. The balance is not great. The first hour or so upgrades are really slow with sometimes not even earning enough for the next upgrade. Then you start making big improvements, and then suddenly you can leave the game on for 30 minutes and buy half the skill tree. I managed to buy the complete non-boss skill tree after 4 hours total, but it did not feel like I earned it.
The game is currently not functioning properly. After several hours of gameplay, enemies stop taking damage, making further progress impossible. This critical bug was reported a long time ago, yet it remains unresolved. Unfortunately, the developers appear to have abandoned the game. They have not fixed the issue, do not offer refunds, and have not responded to any messages on the official Steam forum. I advise potential buyers to be cautious, as there is no guarantee of support or updates. I sincerely hope that Steam takes appropriate action to ensure better quality control on the platform.
There are some good ideas, but it's unfinished and half-baked. The ships swarm and the game just loops. Much of the upgrade tree isn't necessary.
Worst game ever. And I mean it. Not an idle game. Not even a game. I don't know what this thing is, but run away. It will kill you. And your family.
Idle Space Shooter isn't what it says on the tin. It isn't something you'd call Idle. The game starts where you are manually shooting enemies with a reticle that automatically fires ever second. Shooting spaceships that spawn similar to Asteroids. Each enemy drops 15 common currency which is used to upgrade and extend runs. Each time you invest your currency into the skill tree itself you incrementally get stronger and more resources. The first couple of runs are incredibly slow where you barely can buy anything at all. Maybe one damage upgrade or something to increase the length of the run. After you reach the first 100 second mark. You fight the first boss that drops 1 'rare' currency which is used to purchase 'extra' damage upgrades. On paper this sounds like a good investment. However, these upgrades when fully upgraded only do 125 damage and barely make a dent in the enemies. Going to down the time extension tree gives you more resources (which makes runs more interesti...
They way you have to click the mouse before you can move the cross-hair at the start of an encounter feels very jank. The pricing for the upgrades on the upgrade tree means that most of the time there is only one rational option for the next upgrade, because it's the only one you are going to be able to afford, so it doesn't feel like you're really being given much choice. Needs waifus.
Its quite good, progression in the beginning is a bit slow, i would also appreciate it very much if there were some sort of visual effect for the base attack since it seems super slow and its not clear how it works, overall a good start to what i think is a very pleasing game. Good work, also after a very long time on Steam, over 10 years, this is my first review because i wanted to support this indie developer.
