About the Game

Rock Crusher is an incremental game with a massive skill tree where you take control of a small but mighty rock-crushing machine stranded on a mysterious alien planet.

Your mission? Crush rocks, collect resources, and uncover the planet’s secret.

Use your built-in blower to gather materials from shattered boulders, then spend those resources to upgrade and evolve your machine through a massive skill tree packed with powerful perks and game-changing mechanics.

As you dig deeper, numbers skyrocket - from pocket change to unfathomable trillions, delivering that satisfying "big numbers" rush. But it’s not just about upgrades - face off against giant bosses guarding key milestones. Defeat them all to unlock the final truth behind the world you’re crushing through.

Whether you're in it for the grind, the upgrades, or the mystery, Rock Crusher offers a uniquely satisfying loop that only gets better the longer you play.

Very linear upgrading, no change to the gameplay, then it abruptly ends...

Game's great and the skill tree is huge. Each upgrade feels meaningful. Do pay attention to the multiplication effect of certain skins. They change and require you to change your skin to maintain the buff. I didn't realise this at first and was confused why I would occasionally get ~5x the points and then lose it. Easy 100% in 5 hours. Tip for the dev: Add an infinite upgrade tree after the skill tree is complete. For those that want to keep progressing.

This is one of those times when I wish Steam had a neutral option. The game is okay. A middle of the road incremental game. I do have some issues with it: - The game offers little challenge. It's not that I expect an incremental game to be challenging, but there needs to be enough to keep me occupied until the end of the level. Often that's not the case and I'm just waiting for the level to end. - The pacing of progress could be better in places. Sometimes too slow, other times too fast. - Old 'currencies' become obsolete once you unlock new ones. - As you expand your fuel tank, the levels get longer and longer. - The end of the game comes quiet suddenly. As if the dev ran out of steam by the end. - No controller support. - At the start of the game you're asked to select a special crusher. But there is only one option, and no way to unlock any other special crushers. It's as if the dev was planning to add more special crushers but never got around to it. - You can change you...

The quality of this game for the genre is mid-tier at best. In my opinion the only value in the game is the ability to finish the achievements which doesn't require you to play for a year to complete. At the time of writing this, I have one remaining and I can just wait it out for a bit longer. The game is overpriced for what it is for sure.

The leaf blower "push everything to the edge to collect" mechanic completely ruins this game. Yes, there are things you can purchase to make it better, but it isn't enough. Good game except for that, but that's huge. 1/5 - Wait for something to be fixed or find another game.

Isn't bad, it is quite upfront about what it is. I would prefer a more passive gameplay from the start, more of a mobile tower defense kinda thing, you eventually get something like that, but progression feels too step-function, not linear enough, have to grind for a while until you realize the exact order in which you need to do things, then it becomes kinda routine. Overall not upset for having paid for it, but I won't ever be replaying it.

Gotta appreciate any game that let's you play 20 hours in the demo an carry over that to the full game, great incremental with innovative mechanics, may need some polish and QoL but overall great. Edit: the fact the developer has been this active in reading and implementing feedback as diligently as they have is worthy of praise.

Played for 3 hours, only just got to depth 3, I find the material gain far too slow and the upgrade costs too expensive to warrant a game like this, I don't want to sit here for hours in the same stage.

Took 5 hours to beat and about an hour more to 100%. I like some of these short incrementals, but this one was not that good imo. Felt a bit too grindy and unbalanced. For example, there are many different ways to do damage to the rocks, but the bouncing balls or snakes are never really any good. The different types of rocks are also unnecessary, as the newest one is always waay stronger than the others. Also, I did not realize to buy both the background and skin at first. This meant i missed a minimum 2x multiplier. If you press esc and choose how to play it does say to buy both but why do i even have to buy them in the first place? Also why have different skins and then give a 8x multiplier if you use a certain one, that sort of defeats the purpose of skins doesn't it? Really the biggest thing is it doesn't feel very satisfying. I did not like having to switch between blower and doing damage. Keeping the mult zone clear is frustrating especially when a slime parks on top of i...
