This is not worth 30$. The gameplay loop, mechanics, and what you get for your money is engaging maybe 20% of the time. This is an idle game, but you would think with the pricetag being as it is. You would get a more streamlined idle game. Here's the preface. The game is going F2P, that much has been stated and that much is obvious. The only thing you are paying for, right now. is EA. Early Access to a game that had about 4k players on steam at launch which as I currently write this. Is rapidly decreasing. You are paying 30$, for early access to a game that can't decide whether or not it wants to be an idle game, or a survival craft game with territory mechanics. I know how on paper one could assume that you could make both of these things work together in tangential harmony. But you really can't. Stopping an idle queue every few minutes because each quota has like 19 steps to complete one individual item, on top of the stamina and hunger mechanic and the fact that we can't over-s...

I have never left a review before, ever. But I cannot recommend this game in its current state. The game is fun, its a great 2nd screen game or even a main focus if you're doing some of the more active crafts. As someone with almost 1000hrs in it, this game was for a while very fun. As I type this, I'm still playing, but i no longer have the drive to. The Devs are trying? Maybe? Geniune suggestions for things that should have been fixed ages ago are now getting deleted from their discord instead of being received as feedback. - There are still resources lacking from the game (T4 Mushrooms needed for quests and cooking.) - When Sailing Exp came out, people macro'd it which was bad (Sailing exp got turned off and punished the rest of us, but the botters got to keep their exp and new shiny boats they earned - that's still turned off to this day.) - Hunting is not up to par with the other crafts. While they've done some work to repair it, it hasn't fixed it. Instead when people sugges...

I love this game. I love the concept and the vibe. But, the question is not "Do you like this game?"; the question is "Would you recommend this game to other players?" This game is buggy. But, it's buggy in a strange way. It almost never crashes and there's almost nothing game breaking. However, nearly every action in game frequently suffers some kind of bug that will interrupt or detract from what you are trying to accomplish: Want to see your deployable's inventory? Sorry, even though you've turned on the option to have deployable inventory open with the inventory hotkey, the deployable inventory window will not open. Want to work around the above bug by using the context menu of the deployable to open the inventory? Sorry again, that doesn't work either until you try to use the option 3-5 times. Want to harvest a node? LOL, that node is just a ghost in your game: enjoy tracking a ghost until you find another node manually. Want to enjoy the pleasant sounds of nature and labor? Well...

I enjoyed the game up until recently. The devs killed it with today's patch. So many of us have signed off for now or maybe the last time, which is a shame because the other people in the game made it enjoyable. I'd host events in the game and helped a lot of players with their objectives. But now with the game is loaded with absolute stupidity from these changes. What's left is a game that is nothing but a grind-fest. People are afraid to chat because of bans, so you're left with the game running while you check every 5 minutes to see if your job is still active on the table while you do other things irl. Also, the combat changes today, no thanks. I'd refund if I could. And I highly recommend you stay away. This game turned to trash.

I'm not going to write a novel. I have a lot of hours, I enjoy the game, and I don't mind the grind. There is still development to come, but if devs don't revert or significantly improve the combat changes that they just made, this game will die faster and harder than it already is.

As of right now the game consists of watching progress bars, and hauling resources around. There is a lot of potential, but in my opinion it's not worth it at this point

The game is great, but wow they really dropped the ball with the recent patch Turning a game that didn't need combat into a constant battle

Games got an insane grind the same way Runescape does. The negativity in recent reviews is due to a certain population of player-base that are wanting the privilege to yell whatever obscenities/politics/etc they want in the official game chat and discord without repercussion and believe that everyone should be forced to listen to their rhetoric. The game-play is not impacted at all by not hearing their bias and opinions. I personally appreciate the dev's putting a stop to these things in games the same way they prevent gold spammers from selling gold in chat. Other popular games/media already do this, activision monitors voice chat for obscenities and will take action, instagram/facebook does it. It's their platform, its not yours, don't bring your garbage here.

someone called it "Albion Online without PVP" and i agree. in theory that sounds great, nothing was more frustrating than spending an hour gathering in red/black zones just to be ganked and lose everything, but in reality it just means grind with no stakes and little purpose. someone else said it's a "second monitor game". all that says to me is it isn't fun enough to be played on its own, call me old fashioned but i still play one game at a time. there's something here, but it's definitely not worth $30 until it gets more fleshed out

If a crafting simulator with big open world is your thing then id recommend it. I think the crafting system is pretty well made to encourage you to work with other people. Everything pretty mutch requires other "professions" also and you simply cant focus everything at once, so to be optimal you want to work with other people. Which is good for an MMO like this. For me its just not enough for now. There is not really combat yet, i believe they aim to improve on it in the future but for now the game cant keep me interested. It was fun afk crafting/gathering for about 50 hours but after that i was just burnt out. Not really mutch other stuff to do to keep myself interested
