Game of Grass

It is a shame as this game has some potential. Unfortunatly from fresh game to end of game and it just ends with no warning is only 4 hours 30 mins. there is no alternative routs or anything just 4.5 hours and do exactly the same this again.

Gmae had roughly 2 hours and 11 minutes of content (and then I left it running over dinner to get the last achievement (somehow missed getting a golden beet)). Furthermore the last 20 minutes of the run was just waiting for the opportunity to apply all my timed bonuses at once until they run out and then doing it again. Realistically there was about an hour and a half of "fun" content. That does not justify the purchase price at a standard of $2.00/hr of entertainment for an indie game (which most games still meet). Especially given how easy it would have been to add another prestige layer and add another 2-3 hours to the game (could have just done planets with all the same sprites but different color pallets) . The lack of end game upgrades, artificially dragging out the game, and the EXTREMELY short nature of the game (other short incrementals advertised as short still take 3-4 hours to complete usually make it just not worth the price compared to many other games out there. Pretty nice. Honestly not worth $7, so maybe wait for it to go on sale. It's fairly easy to 100% but I still got some enjoyment out of it.

Very fun game overall. Nice style, you get right into the game, and the basic upgrades actually feel like upgrades, which gives a big reason to keep playing. Plus there's tons of cats, there's like a LOT of cats, and I love that very much. However, a fair warning that prestige upgrades and the overall prestige system is quite bad, as much as I did enjoy my time playing, prestige felt like a bit of a waste overall, and it could have been done a lot better to make the game play loop feel a bit nicer on the player. So if you're looking for a game with a good prestige loop, it's not this, but that's truly my biggest issue with the game.

I feel like this is a way more efficient way to cut grass, im going to start doing that in my own yard just go out with a sword and shoot fireballs!
