VERY COOL GAME. It's better than "your average idle aquarium game" by every way really. The visuals and music are awesome and I find the actual gameplay to be very compelling so far unlike just about every other idler out there.
This game is fantastic, I've told all my family who games to play it and I think more people should know about it. Music is fantastic, pixel art is incredible. Positive experience all around
Fish
This game has been worth its $12 and then some. Cute little easter eggs, BEAUTIFUL backgrounds, amazing pacing and a really fun concept. Sometimes I'll just scroll through the card art because it's stunning! It takes a little bit to get used to but after you start to notice the patterns of how the fish interact with your income, it all kinda slots together to create this really simple, intuitive gameplay loop. My only qualm is that after working so hard to get the later backgrounds, I sometimes can't see them well when I've got a lot of fish. I'm very excited to see what Fishtopia holds in the future for QoL updates, it's still a bit of a fresh experience but I love it nonetheless. Don't pass up this little second monitor treat.
This game has such a nice vibe, I love the aesthetic and the music! It's my favorite thing to check in on at the end of the day. Would love to be able to name my fishies!
><()> Pixel-Fish! Booster-Packs! I love it! <3 ><()>
FISHHHHHHHHHHH
fish :3
This is the aquarium game I've longed to have. It nails its vibe, from the pixel fish to the lo-fi soundtrack that just puts me in a mellow mood (I like CRT off and Lower Brightness setting on, but YMMV). Unlike most "idlers" in the market, this one is a true idler - no need to feed the fish, just watch them grow up and swim around, then sell them for more resources to open more "booster packs" to get more fish. Maybe you'll get a golden or glittering one! Speaking of booster packs, I really like the concept and execution of the shop. You basically spend the money or gems you get from idling to open booster packs of fish. *There is no other way to get these resources*. There is no MTX in this game, but it gets you the same dopamine hit of pulling on a gacha game! Progression is slow, but it's best seen as an incentive to change your aquarium up once in a while and get different kinds of fish. There are fish that boost the income of specific kinds of fish, so you can make a themed aqu...
