About This Game

A witch has kidnapped the prince and the princess. As the royal wizard, you have been severed in half so you can go rescue both at the same time, but first you’ll need to learn to control the two halves of your body simultaneously.

With a series of quick single-screen platforming levels, Ambidextro will help you master controlling two characters at once, one with each hand. Learn to split your focus and tackle increasingly challenging levels you would have thought impossible.

· A multi-player game for a single player.

· Control one character with each hand.

· Make your two-halves meet before the time runs out.

· 100 levels to conquer.

· Retro dark-fantasy atmosphere with a dungeon synth soundtrack.

I tried to give it several chances but it is simply not my type of video game. I played it for 3 hours and still did not enjoy it enough to recommend it. The difficulty is stressful and even though I love all the other video games from this developer, this particular one did not hook me as I expected. Objectively it's a game with a good standard of quality but I can not recommend something that I did not enjoy.

Needs a level editor or more content. The game is way too short. Probably worthwhile to get it if discounted. Had a lot of fun playing it overall.

Great game. Good game idea, but amazingly executed. It accomplished everything it wanted. You can clearly tell that the game was played a lot during development. The graphics and sound give the game a good vibe. Beating each level feels rewarding. Hearing the satisfying click of the next level when you complete a difficult level feels great. What would make or break a game like this are the levels. If they were trivial or just annoying, the game could have failed, but they are made with a lot of care and attention to detail. It pushes you to your limit, but does not overwhelm you. It makes sure your attention is only demanded on side at a time if you do things right. The doesn't start off easy and only gets harder. Each level feels possible coming from the previous one, but being thrown into one of the final levels from the start would have been incredibly overwhelming. Expertly crafted. My only complaint is that my left hand realized it doesn't need me and has wandered off to live ...

What is a simple game becomes so difficult when putting a two person job the hands of one played.

My wife and I struggle to beat the game by handling one side of the controller each :) Which actually makes it a great and fun two player game. It's absolutely stunning that anyone can beat this game with only one brain, yet some people seem to do it. It's absolute hell for one player, but really fun for two.

Satisfying amount of challenge without being infuriatingly hard. The game does a really good job getting you familiarized with controlling both characters at once -- when you start having to control them desynced, it really feels weird for a bit, but once you figure it out it's a lot of fun. Level editor would be amazing for this too.

At the beginning I was intrigued. In the middle I was upset. Near end I was broken, and when it was all said and done, I walked away, a conqueror, knowing that if I could overcome this challenge, I could overcome anything
