Certainly nothing too special but there are some fairly creative segments in the second half that got me more invested as time went on, and the level design is actually quite strong which does a lot of heavy lifting here. The combat is a bit on the messy side but it works fine for what it is, I did play on controller and I am fairly certain this thing would play smoother with mouse and keyboard so I may not have gotten the ideal experience on my playthrough. I found it a little challenging but not unfairly so. For the price, you could certainly do much worse than Something Took Her. It's a short and fun experience, if a little insubstantial, but I have high hopes for a larger and more fleshed out follow up game from this dev.
