Janky Tanks

Fun game but haven't seen an update since May 25th , 2015.

Janky Tanky Fun! Also, not a lot of 8 player mayhem local games out there. This and Knight Squad have both been really fun!

Janky Tanks has a similar gameplay to Smash Bro's - do damage, knock people off. Higher damage = you fly farther! But with indestructable tanks! Played the demo, and wound up playing the demo for over an hour with a few people. Well worth the $2.50 I got on sale. For $5, I think I'd like to see a little bit more, maybe at least 1-2 more modes? Even still, lots of fun and I am keen to see how it develops further. - Hot Tip: Set the water level to rise in 10 - seconds, and it becomes a king-of-the-hill panic for higher ground. It becomes more about how well you control your tank, as opposed to knocking others off!

This is the worst game I have ever played, and I voted in 2016.

うんこです。 i was surprised to find out this game was sold on the computer version steam and regardless only playable on non-pc platforms. very disappointed as i was excited before experiencing this "you cant play this on the computer" crap. looking forward for future develpment so i can at least play this game to update my review

Felt obligatory to write a proper review for this game. This is a good game, just not centered to the most common steam users out there. Couple things to note: First - You NEED a controller for it. No exceptions. Second - you need friends, controllers for each of them, preferably a coach and a big TV. Third - like Gang Beast, chaos is a significant element in this game. Much more fun with 8 players than 3 or 2. Many reviews diss this game for not suiting their need without justifying it's main audience is couch gaming. So, here goes the actual review: Gameplay mechanics are good and simple. The UI could use clearer explanations for sure, but everyone knows the control in a minute. Map / gamemode variety is just enough or at bare minimum, repetitive yes, but doesn't bother us. Game pacing is *very* good, where the balance between quick reflexes and tactics are strikingly neat. Fun game if you have friends to play it with. Not a lot of content though.
