Oh my God, is this game the drizzling poops. I had avoided it decades ago, but because I have an affinity for awful games as well as point and click adventure games, I decided to scratch both itches at once. I was an idiot for having done so. The Mystery of the Druids is infamous for its terrible plot, puzzles and graphics. Look at other adventure games that came out around the same time. Grim Fandango. Syberia. Dracula Resurrection. You can’t use the game’s age as an excuse for being this terrible. It’s not that it aged poorly; it’s that it was Daikatana for the adventure set from day one. The surprising thing? The Steam version IS EVEN WORSE. The one you get here is missing important files so the game will crash every time you hand over an item, amongst other times. You’ll have to download files to make the game work without crashing. It also will not save properly on a PC, but it will on a Steam Deck, so you’ll have to download some more files to get that to function...
