Hard to write an honest review after the first day of relase. Made in Unity it sure has it moments. It is an adventure, with puzzles and hacking to find Dan McPenrite's sister Merle. On this adventure you will be able to explore different worlds through VR (Virtual Reality). Your able to hack systems, with Linux style command line. Now for those who never used Linux, no worries, the game do have a help command/option to show you the commands. Pros: Ok graphics Voice acting (at the time of this review I've found two characters beeing voiced.) Hacking Cons: Typos Bugs (not game breaking) Game is in Alpha so bugs and typos does exist. But looking through that, it is a decent game worth trying.

An unfinished, buggy mess. If the devs polish this game, it could quite possibly shine. Beyond the bugs, the gameplay choices are extremely questionable, the game lacks basic communication to the player ("conveyance") about what you're supposed to do next. The story, I'm not certain of. The bits I got felt a bit patchy and incomplete. I will change my review if/when these problems are fixed, and when I get around to it.
Early access... Way too early. The graphic are inconsistent. The lighting needs a lot of work. Gameplay is sketchy. Also, what's up with the invisible walls in front of the building? If I want to go smash my face against a wall, I like to be able to lol Seriously, I had expectations for this game, I would have liked a Indie version of Watch Dog, where terminal hacks are possible. Even maybe a bit of programming involved. I played it and I figure that I shouldn't have. The only people who should play this game at that moment are the developpers. Advice to make it a great game, focus on one thing at a time, there's no point making progress in the story if the first half an hour of playing the game feels like torture. Ok maybe it's not fair, I have been trying to find a game that you can move like in Watch Dog( or even a mix of Assassin Creed and GTA) and perform terminal hack like in Hacknet. If anybody find such a game, please sign me in. In the meantime, I will follow the game, beca...
terminal hacker? more like terminal CANCER
This is a very enjoyable game. Not necessarily for great features, but the idea of it is very unique. I'd definitely recommend it to anybody who likes a game that really makes them think, and presents challenges that are actually challenging. However, because the game is in Early Access to work out bugs, if you plan on getting the game for enjoyment, I'd recommend waiting until there is some more time spent for improvements. If you are interested in playing early and pitch in with others to make the game better, then awesome. As mentioned on the store page, more work has to be done, however the game is definitely playable. Pros: -Cool story -You feel like a hacker -There are trolls Cons: -You feel like a hacker, cons are insignificant - ...although the pick-up line has no effect on the lady in the beginning. D:
It just seems a little broken to me.
i really like the game it's very cool you feel like a hacker but im not so good at linux so i think its kind of hard .
Tags: Adventure - WS - Walking Sim Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Eternal Early Access. Fetchquest Inception Narrative Structure™. Non interactable environments and some npcs. Purchased assets, recognized a map from a different game. Not impressed at all. Game is very stiff with simple and clunky npc scripts, a non interactable environment, and a purchased/asset flipped map that I saw when I played gynophobia. Character population stands about doing not much of anything. Some npcs were non interactable too, most of them actually. Seems like gameplay is a simple breadcrumb game where you talk to a npc in a starting area, he mentions someone, or something somewhere, and as you talk to them they do the same thing and mention someone else. Kind of like a game of tag. No one seems to be doing, saying anything interesting. Worldbuilding and stage setting is absent. Just very hollow and unsatisfying.
