Shipwreck is basically "Link's Awakening at home", which to be fair, that's a good thing, since Link's Awakening is an excellent game. That said, Shipwreck lacks the quality and polishing of LA, which is to be expected, being a free game. Far too often you'll get caught up on corners, you'll fail to turn because you tried to do it while swinging your sword, or sometimes it'll just eat your inputs regardless of whatever else you try. Enemies really, really want to be inside of you, to the point where everything will just ram itself into your character the moment they can. They have no concept of personal space, and it can be annoying, especially since they take more than one hit and some of them feel like they have invincibility frames (LOOKING AT YOU, CROWS), so they can just hit you even when your sword passes through them. The townspeople simply exist. There's no trading sequence, no quests, no pictures to have taken, there's no at home Malon to befriend, but there is a shop. But ...
