Whisker Wanderlust: The Mosaic of Souls

I like a lot of these cat-themed hidden object games, so my expectations on difficulty and length of game isn't exactly much. Yet, this one managed to disappoint me. The background art is gorgeous, but the actual hidden objects stand out so much that it makes me believe that it can't be the same person that made both. The Ghost Cats you need to find isn't that bad, but each level wants you to find extra items and those are the ones that are very bad. The biggest problem is just the quality of the files, the compression(?) of them aren't very well so when you zoom out their black lines are no longer smooth but very pixelated making them stand out a lot. Not to mention, the extra items are also sometimes in the background art. Seagulls for example, plenty of seagulls relaxing around but they don't count when clicking them. Which is a minor annoyance. My amount of hours played is simply because they want you to replay all the levels but to find 700 golden cans.. While restricting y...

Good little game with nice and relaxing vibes. It is easy and enjoyable, packing a few hours of content. Thumbs up for sure!

[b]Whisker Wonderlust: The Mosaic of Souls[/b] is probably my favorite game in this hidden objects genre. The hand-drawn art is just so impressive, it matches really well with the game since you need to zoom in to look for the items and every nook and cranny has an insane amount of detail— one or two chapters felt a bit overwhelming because of the color palette, but it was still marvelous! The soundtrack is also great, it made the game a lot cozier.

If this looks like the kind of game you would like then this is the kind of game you would like. The art is charming, the mood is chill. It's a hidden object game that doesn't really add anything new but does it have to? The art is enough to sell it for the price they are acting. The fact that the game is good is just icing on the cake. This would be fantastic to play with a small child if you are a parent or grandparent looking for a fun activity. If they do a follow-up game it will be an instant buy for me.
