If you like front mission then this is like that but more roguelike. If you like front mission games I also recommend DUAL GEAR. Sadly both games are amazing and stuck in Early Access. This game is new and got a good amount of updates so far. Do I recommend spending 20 dollars. I'd say wait for a sale or play the demo and if your addicted grab it. The videos and pictures dont do it justice. fyi your computer will sound like a jet playing this at the moment but its worth it to play a good front mission game again. Only bad thing I can say about it at the moment is the story isnt 100% released and also it needs a roguelike mode. If they made a slay the spire roguelike mode well we wait for the full release of the story that would solve all my issues with it because the story is 2 missions and you get bored after you beat them. So 7/10 and will make 10 out of 10 if they manage to finish it or add a roguelike mode.
Barebones at the moment, small maps, and lacking in immersion. But I see the potential here. It needs to be polished in all areas. Play the Demo first and buy only if you feel this may be worth the investment. So far, I give it an optimistic 6 out of 10.
This is a Rough Gem of a game that I can't help but really enjoy. The combat could use a balance pass but even then it's still very fun. Some of the Modules could use buffs or changes but you still can find a use for nearly 75% of them. And while I want to love Overheat and Rupture Damage they just aren't quite as good as the other damages. But that said I still bought the game and still plan on playing it some more. I can't wait to see where it ends up at when it hits 1.0.
