A short game about a person living in a suspiciously cheap apartment complex.
Disoriented and groggy, you rise from your comfy sofa. You go about your night as usual: washing the dishes, brushing your teeth, closing the curtains... And yet there's something in this apartment that strikes you as unfamiliar.
Maybe it's a certain quality in the air, or the winding layout of the residence, or perhaps just paranoia; regardless, it's unsettling, to say the least. You'd swear you could hear a faint footstep or whispering every so often, despite being completely alone.
But right now, it's not what's important—you have work starting early in the morning. Plus, you're pretty secluded living in rural Vermont, so there's nothing to be afraid of, right?

For a dollar, I expected some gameplay. It is a walking sim with terrible settings and lasted maybe 15 minutes with one convoluted puzzle. Sound design was great but I can't recommend the game even for the price.
Not super bad, not good. If it was for free, I would have given it a thumbs up, but it is not.
The game is less than thirty minutes. I only racked up so much time because I tried every possible lock combination only to find the game doesn't let you guess until it starts throwing out hints from the bookshelf. There is no story and SPOILER you die at the end but it's unclear why. I guess you opened the box which was like a murder test? Which is stupid. I would have just gone back to bed if I were this guy and slept it off til morning when i would have thrown the box out wholesale. The player camera also teleports which leaves you wondering if this guy actually had any of this happen since one second you're in one room and then suddenly you're in another. Why do horror games never make sense?
